Moldy - Do not stay here

Owner was very responsive to messages. Aside from this and the central location, there was not much to like about this studio. Instructions to enter the studio were not clear and seemingly out of date (keys were not colour-coded as described and door to use them on not made clear). There were minimal bathroom products (only one small roll of toilet paper, no hand towel). The street-facing courtyard gate would not lock and was frequently left wide open by others in the building (especially concerning as this is a ground floor studio). The fan left in the studio was completely non-functional. The studio itself was covered in black mold and not clean (dusty and stained). We did not feel safe sleeping in the studio and cut our stay short. The owner fully refunded us and said she would speak with the cleaning person but this studio is in need of mold treatment before it would be suitable for guests in future. Either the owner has not visited the property recently or is deliberately ignoring the mold issue.
