I liked the pool and the breakfast staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. However, the front desk workers were not particularly friendly and seemed bothered when I asked one question. I would understand if I was badgering or relentless or even complaining. I know everyone has a bad day. But I interacted with 3 different people and they all were not notably friendly. The man in particular was very unpleasant. The room upon first entry was also covered in some kind of debris (we assumed crumbs of food because it was on the counter and desk). My husband also found pink mold on the sink and the shower did not drain properly which made us think it may have been clogged. The bathroom vent also had a gaping hole surrounding and underneath it.
The worst part by far was the other disruptive guests and apparent lack of hotel security. Not even an hour into our stay, we went to the pool with our two small children and the other guests were telling obscenities multiple times and a physical altercation broke out between an adult man and what appeared to be a teenage boy who was seen harassing multiple different people. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable, unsafe and concerned about whether we should continue our stay at that point. At no point did any hotel staff intervene and we were there for almost 2 hours
