The property has a nostalgic vibe. I loved it. Plus we could have pets. We couldn’t use pool due to winter, but we enjoyed bar and restaurant by the pool. We were surprised that foods tasted great.

We had a staycation for my husband’s birthday, and the River Lodge was a great choice. The pool was clean and the seating around it gave resort vibes. The pool bar had a great selection of cocktails. The hot tub was great. We were there in a cooler day and wished the pool was slightly more heated. The rooms were nice. We also enjoyed the fire pits at night. We’ll definitely be back.

River Lodge lives up to the hype!! They have thought of everything. The design is gorgeous, the bed is super comfy, and the pool is fantastic. My pup enjoyed her time there, too. With the front yard and grassy areas, it was super easy to have her along for the relaxing weekend.
