The carpet in the hallway is peeling, leaving bubbles in a line, and there's dried mold in the bathtub. I woke up with a stuffy nose from the mold. Else they charge a fee for my service dog. On their website said no charge por service dog.. I wonder why they charge me. I will ask at checkout. But staff is okay.
Old digital clock in room was not working -- no replacement available. In general seemed old, but generally clean. Breakfast was adequate, when properly stocked and it didn't run out.
Parking was good, area seemed safe. Breakfast could have had some options like meat (bacon, sausage, etc) waffles or pancakes, maybe pastries. Rooms were clean but noisy, some maintenance items needed attention such as the door locks that didnât unlock with the key.
Well the front desk folks were excellent , very nice and hospitable, the girl who runs the breakfast was extremely nice, Iâve talked to her on a previous visit. Been here 4-5 times. This time , as usual we always check for bedbugs. We didnât see any after our initial search. However in the morning looking in between my pillow I found one. Very disappointing. I put in a cup and brought it to the front desk. Hopefully the room will be treated properly. Not very happy about that, but itâs almost expected these days wherever you stay.
