Below is a list of the overwhelming issues we encountered during our stay: Carpets were disgusting- old and stains everywhere throughout the house (we had to keep our shoes on throughout our stay) Rugs were ripped, worn, tattered, dirty and old Windows were falling apart, paint coming away and filthy both on the windows and inside between the screen and window. Many windows did not open or close. The windows that would not close all the way kept many rooms cold at night. Stains and rips and holes on the ceiling, some parts of the ceiling were broken (for example the twin beds room) Old tattered linens with rips and stains Persistent odor in the game room/guest house with old air conditioner. Two of our family members had to sleep in there and it was hard for them to bear the smell. Ripped and old couches, chairs, and furniture (no one wanted to sit on the couches or furniture which prevented us from enjoying and relaxing during our stay). Old and worn fabric coverings on the dressers Exterior was extremely dirty and worn, we had to clean off dozens of cobwebs Cobwebs, live bugs, and dead bugs throughout the house Beds were old, worn, and dipping down, or loud/squeaky (many of us slept terribly due to this) The entire house was musty/old/dusty- 3 of us were up coughing and wheezing at night. Dirty items in the kitchen drawers such as stained and dirty oven mitts. Extremely dirty fans covered in black dust.
