Nice weekend away
Pod very clean. We had a pod with enclosed garden, perfect for the dogs. Mattresses were very comfortable. There was even a TV. Toilets, showers clean.

My wife and I were looking for something a bit different and close to Ullswater. This fits of criteria. The overall experience was good and I would come back again in the summer. However the weather was not too good when we were there or else we would have lunch/bbq outside the pod.

Lovely Place
Great experience from start to finish especially during Covid times. Everything was lovely and clean and the whole process of getting into the lodge was stress free. Would definitely recommend.
Great short break in pod16. Site is pretty, pods are amazing with great facilities and very clean. Loved the little extras like tea and coffee sachets, a tea towel and torch etc.... The showers were brilliant and kept clean. Toilet rolls, Shower gel and bath mats were also provided.
The beds were comfortable and the pods very warm at night. No heating was needed but we did use the radiator to dry socks !
Super location for visiting the lakes or a stop off on the way to Scotland or down south as just off the A/M6
There is a pub (Queens Arms with delicious food and dog friendly) 40 mins walk away across the fields, in Tirril, Greggs and Burger King just around the corner next to the Travelodge and the Reghed centre a 15 minute walk down a quiet lane. It has restaurants, a cinema, outdoor play area , shops, petrol station and pottery painting and other activities. Penrith is 10 minutes in the car.
All in all a brilliant place to stay and we will definitely be going back again in the future.
Great communication prior to check in. Despite the awful weather of late, the shower block and pod itself were very clean. Nice atmosphere on the site.
Lovely cozy lodges with great facilities. Only improvement I would recommend is fly net liner like tents have over the doors, as it was particularly hot weather when we were there and it would have allowed us to keep the door open without attracting moths. Would definitely recommend.
The communication and preparations for my stay were excellent and alowed me to check in independently, which is much better for me. The facilities and accomodation were all excellent with everything in good working order and ready for us. The staff member the next morning at reception was really polite and helpful. I would absoutely recommend this place and would stay again.
Lovely cosy pod which was great for our family of four, had a fridge, microwave and kettle inside too which was a great help to us. All have their own BBQ and outside seating area too which would have been great to use if we'd of stayed longer.
Not far from lots of great places to explore in the Lake District we'd definitely recommend this.
Great little place. Perfect for what we had needed
Fab little hideaway. Does exactly what it says! Clean, cosy. Cute to another level. Second year running we’ve been there. Only teeny comment was septic tank was a little smelly. Will be back for a third year . Great job thank you xx
I booked this for just one night, for myself. was planning to climb Scafell Pike the next day. As soon as I arrived I fell in love with this little gem. So well put together and a real close to nature feel. The pod I had (pod 1) was gorgeous, a little path leading up to my pod which has a little patio and bench. Just outside was my own picnic bench and a stone unit for a bbq. Inside was everything I’d need including, comfortable beds, microwave, cutlery, crockery, kettle and tea and coffee, all the info I needed and some leaflets of local attractions. After booking you receive a text message with very straight forward instructions on checking in and getting your key etc. Then the very friendly staff who checked that I had everything I needed. The toilets are shower were superb, modern and very clean. Perfect for couples and families alike, my daughters would have loved it. So, very highly recommend a stay here <3
Stayed over with a couple of friends and my golden doodle. Perfect location for walks and lake. Lovely clean accommodation we all had a good nights sleep. Yes it is near a railway line and the M6, but this certainly didn’t affect our stay and would definitely go again.
pretty good. better than expected. comfortable, warm, pleasant settings. handy for all locations.
good services, good people. only thing I could suggest improvement on is for larger families, navigating the beds/seating areas ,a larger accommodation would be needed.
