Nice, clean hotel with an amazing pool and beach!

Our stay was great, everyone was friendly and nice. The pool area is amazing, and my grand kids loved it. The beach access is great too! The hotel and rooms are like new, and the bathrooms are great! My only disappointment is that I was charged for parking. I was not told in advance that I would be charged. You would think that paying over $400 per night would be enough, but to charge $10 for parking and not disclose this in advance is disappointing.

I had stayed in the same hotel in 2017. I was so surprised of the whole remodel project they did. Hotel is really nice now. They also upgraded the pool and it’s kid friendly now. Service is great.

It was beautiful! The lazy river was my family’s favorite. Fish Heads restaurant was delicious with several options. Outside seating with an amazing view. The hotel was quiet, no noise in hallway, you could not hear people above you. We will definitely stay again!

Incredible stay. This is by far the best of the chains on this little strip. I was torn over not staying at the Hilton, because of some extra services (room, etc) but the hotel is beyond dated and rooms are not what youd expect. Rooms at Fairfield are of the distinctly modern brand ilk and perfectly arranged. We had beautiful views of bay and gulf from our corner balcony on floor 9. Front desk staff were super helpful and accomodating. Breakfast offers healthy options (turkey sausage, spinach feta quiche, etc). Pool usually has seating at any time of day. Will be staying here from now on while in Pcola.

Beds in room were not comfy. Slept horribly. Bartenders at fish heads were very rude and dismissive. Bfast is very standard in my opinion. However we did go during a very busy week so I'm taking that into consideration. Not sure we'll stay again though. Grace was absolutely amazing and she went above and beyond for us, her kindness is not forgotten and the main reason I gave a higher rating.

Doesn't bring the A-game until a big event.

Came down for a beach trip. Didn't know the blue angels we're flying for an air show. No mention of this found on the hotel website or info board in the elevator. Was pleasantly surprised by the opportunity, regardless. This also made it clear on the nights before the show, the hotel was short staffed, like holding back on cleaning the pool or "bringing thier A-game" so-to-speak. Once the shows were on, the hotel was much more lively and better staffed, nicer staff, too. Was not tempted to get drinks or meal from Fish Heads bar and grill on premises. Drink prices were too steep, especially given the competing liquor store at the entrance of their parking lot. No advertised specials or signature food or drink offerings were presented. Plenty of competing mea options nearby. Indoor bar was closed two nights. Continental breakfast was very good, well stocked, and good coffee to boot! Very clean outside the pool area. Parking fees were discussed at check-in. I could waive by becoming a Marriott Bonvoy member. Not interested. Little peeved this is not part of the app booking process. Listing on Hotels specifies room has a "view" without specifying the type of view. I thought I was booking an ocean view, but had a lagoon view. Beach is partially obstructed by umbrella and lounge chair vendors dominating space, leaving a row of mostly empty chairs and umbrellas down the beach - occupying space and obstructing travel.

Good stay

Hotel is in a great location with wonderful amenities. We were treated to the Blue Angels show while we were there…watched it from our balcony. Easy access to beach and pool. The breakfast buffet had some healthy choices, but there were no pastries or muffins, which my grandchildren wanted.

Annual Pensacola Beach Family vacation

First off I want to say Grace was so amazing and went above and beyond! We truly appreciated her help!! After that things kind of went down hill. The room wasn't near as nice as we had hoped, especially for the price. The beds are not very comfy at all. Bfast was sub par also. On the way here from Iowa, we stayed over night at Fairfield Inn and Suites in Tupelo and the bfast was better...Bartenders at fish heads were dismissive and kind of rude to be frank. Went over to holiday inn and received better service. As far as location, perfect! You're pretty close to everything and there's a golfcart service if you want a ride. We won't come back unfortunately. We've stayed down the street at the Spring Hill Suites and it was much nicer in all aspects. Also the Pensacola Beach Resort is very nice and prices are very similar.

Phenomenal Stay!

Everything about this stay was great! We were able to check-in early and online, which helped tremendously. We traveled roughly 10 hours to be there and having the chance to get into a room sooner was phenomenal. The staff was super sweet and friendly. We didn't come across one person who was rude or without a smile on their face. Wonderful stay!
