The condo itself was beautiful, very clean, and very well maintained. We were extremely pleased with the unit and its location. Unfortunately, our overall experience was negatively impacted by several issues.We booked through VRBO and were not clearly informed that the main pool was closed due to renovations. The only pool available on-site was a much smaller pool. While the listing mentioned that the building was being renovated and part of the parking lot would be blocked off, it did not explain the extent of the construction or that we would be awakened every morning by loud construction noise directly outside our balcony.The information on VRBO was also inaccurate, making the property difficult to find. We had to call Beach Bum, the management company, for directions. Unfortunately, the representative we spoke with was rude and condescending. She acknowledged that much of the information on VRBO was incorrect, yet made us feel as though the confusion was our fault.She mentioned that she managed 17 properties next door, but instead of offering to move us to another unit, she gave us a key fob and directed us to a pool that was a considerable walk away.While the condo itself was lovely, the inaccurate listing details, ongoing construction, and poor customer service greatly diminished our stay. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking a property managed by Beach Bum.
