Overall our stay was pretty decent! I will say that the staff especially one of the women who worked at the front desk who was trying a new employee was pretty unprofessional, and was cursing while talking/training the other individual while children were around during breakfast time. She also wasn’t that friendly/inviting when I interacted directly with her. Aside from this, the beds seemed a bit lumpy and layers/pads I would assume under the sheets. Overall, the rest of the staff was nice and interactive. The location was okay, there seemed to be a lot of other hotels/motels around and a lot of homeless people and parked semis. Thanks for having us!

We had a terrible experience during our stay. The room had a foul smell, and the floors were dirty. Both the kitchen and the dishes were in poor condition. The furniture was very old, and whenever we moved the bed, it made a lot of noise. Additionally, the pull-out bed had stains on it. As a result, we did not get a good night's sleep.

Spacious room with nice kitchen and dining table. Layout of property was nice. Breakfast offerings were okay (no warm foods). Pool and hot tub nice for family. The fold out bed had sand and crumbs on it and found some edges of room not fully clean.

50 Shades of Nope We booked a room listed as family-friendly, for 3 people and were welcomed with exactly 2 of everything—2 forks (no spoons!), 2 tiny bowls, 2 chairs, 2 cups, 2 hopes, 2 dreams. It felt like we were intruding on a romantic getaway meant for a couple with small appetites. The couch was a battered relic of better times and that was all before we discovered The Stain. Yes, that kind of stain. There was no hand soap. Anywhere. We were just raw-dogging germs. The listing also said paper towels would be provided. Adorable. Not only were there no paper towels, but when we asked, they casually informed us they “don’t provide those anymore.” A corner of the bed had been chewed—and we are praying to every deity that it was by a pet. Judging by the 2 pieces of mysterious kibble in the freezer, we wouldn’t be surprised if it still lives there. The kitchen provided us with dirty pans, and utensils that had clearly been used. Even the floor was specifically, a gritty, sandy, unclean one. The bathroom door wouldn’t even latch. And the complimentary breakfast? Was… not. Now, for the grand finale: on the last night, our toilet decided to re-enact Old Faithful. It gurgled, clogged, and completely surrendered. When we notified the front desk, we were handed a plunger that was so dysfunctional it probably belongs in a modern art exhibit. The toilet won. We accepted defeat. And just to seal this unforgettable experience, the comforter had blood on it. That’s not a typo.

The place was filthy. Breakfast was toast and coffee. Not worth getting up for. It was a non-smoking room but reeked of cigar smoke. The sheets looked like they had not been changed. I would never stay there again.

Check-in was quick, however, the first room they gave us smelled of smoke. He moved us to a different room. That being said several hours later, someone was knocking at our door. He had the same key. Apparently the lobby people did not log that they changed rooms on us. Two phone calls after that from the front desk asking who is in the room.
