The clerk on duty was wonderful, very friendly. I didn’t get name but very nice. The room was not so nice- stains on pillows case and comforter( yellowing stains) I used my own T-shirt over pillow as none of pillows looked very clean. Worn out furniture and carpet. If I was staying longer than the 10hours over night, I would have left.

Nice people, room clean, good enough.

Friendly helpful staff, clean room, acceptable comp breakfast, easy access to a couple of nearby restaurants within walking distance. Facility generally a little dated, aspects of room furniture a bit worn. Hall outside my nonsmoking room in a nonsmoking wing smelled of smoke.

Stayed overnight at Comfort Inn Petersburg Fort Lee 5/2, I was initially concerned upon arrival, seeing "Sold out" signs on the front door, but check-in went very well. The 2 ladies at the desk were very friendly and provided helpful advice regarding local dining options, of which the were several. The room was quite quite clean and comfortable. I did appreciate having a comfortable easy chair, in addition to the desk chair, in which to sit while calling home to provide a travel update. And the king size bed was quite comfortable, an important favor since a good night's sleep was critical between 2 long days on the road. Despite the full house, the room was very quiet, even though it was on the first floor, close to the lobby. And breakfast in the morning was excellent: fluffy scrambled eggs and sausage and a fresh waffle for me, along with cereals, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, toast, muffins, etc., and of course, coffee and OJ. It may have been due to the full house, but it seemed I got the last cup of waffle batter, and dominant the last cup of coffee from the dispensing carafe. Nevertheless, I checked out with a full charge, ready for the drive home. As this location is convenient to my travel route, I will be back.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean but the hotel needs an update and the carpet has got to go especially with the newer hotels near by. There are old, run down units at the back of the hotel that need to be removed. It was the last thing I expected to see when I looked out my window.

I won’t go there again.

I found 3 cockroaches within 15 minutes in the room in the morning and there was the smell of someone who had smoked cigarette.
