Des gamelles pour l'eau et la nourriture, une zone de promenade sans laisse, des services de garde d'animaux et des services de toilettage sont disponibles
We chose the Quarters because of its location within walking distance to our son's house. Our room was very clean and well maintained for an older building. On the downside, the room was very small, better suited for a single person. Also, it was advertised as a BnB. There was coffee and tea in the lobby but no food available.
The owners are wonderful. They were readily available if need be, and they keep a nice clean space that is safe. The food in the area is fantastic, and I would also recommend doing something different Iike a psychic card reading. Very interesting area of Philly to visit.
This is not a B&B or a hotel. It is a room in a house that was converted to a room rental. There is no TV and full length mirror. The bathroom is very cramped, etc. With that said itâs in a great neighborhood with only a hill between you and downtown.
It's an unfinished hostel, not a hotel. For a week: Missing doorknobs for bathroom, nothing to cover windows in bathroom and bedroom, combo doorlock to room wouldn't stop anyone with malintent, no where to hang a coat or wet towel, the 'available food' was an empty vending machine and keurig w/calcium deposits, its a big step out of the slippery tub with only the toilet or low ceiling to grab hold of, and we had to designate a "toilet towel" to dry off the toilet after each bath. We feel misled to have rented the king size bed with only a small plastic bathtub. Philly and Manayunk are great, but we dreaded going back to our room each night.
Quarters was a good option for me to visit family in Germantown.
+ good location just a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops and restaurants
Positives:
+ Quick and friendly contact with Mark (owner)
+ comfortable bed
+ not too difficult to get street parking for two nights
Things to note:
- The booking I made on hotels.com showed another room (quarter two) than what I got (quarter one). Rooms are relatively similar
- there was hair by the shower drain when I arrived. Otherwise seemed clean.
Quarters is a clean and quiet place to stay. The location is very convenient to the night life on Main St. After we arrived, we had a couple of questions and the host answered immediately. The only downside is the parking. I would stay here in the future.
Mark was a great host. He was friendly and very responsive. My âQuartersâ was nice, with a very comfortable bed, small microwave and fridge, a desk and two end tables. Beautiful hardwood floors that look to be original. The walkability is great as it is only one block from Manayunks Main St., where you will find your choice of restaurants including cute little coffee shops and vintage stores.
I was born in Philly and lived there for a long time. I canât believe I missed this little gem.
The B&B seemed pleasant online and the owner was helpful, but the marketing was deceiving as the bathroom is not attached to the room or private as I could tell another resident had used it and it was unable to be locked from the outside. The room was very small with barely enough room to get into the bed or sit. The bed was also in disrepair as one of the boards on the bottom just randomly fell out while we were sitting on the bed. I had high hopes leading up to staying here, but I would not recommend this establishment to anyone else.
My husband and I went to watch the Eagles play in the Super Bowl. Mark was very helpful and friendly and the place was cute as a button! Walking distance to Main St and very quiet neighborhood. Honestly - was even better than expected! We will definitely be back for another stay!
