I couldn’t wait to stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. Our room was amazingly clean and the amenities were great! We were in town for a graduation and on a very busy schedule so we didn’t do much at the hotel but sleep which was a bummer because I was really looking forward to hanging by the pool. The one single downside is that we didn’t get housekeeping during our stay which is a perk I really enjoy on vacation.

I really love this hotel. The staff is nice and welcoming. The roof top bar and Cartel Coffee shop are great places to hang out evening and morning. The room is nicely decorated in 60’s style with a very comfortable bed and nice shower.

Very chic. Loved the look and the concept. However, for some reason my reservation was not displayed within Expedia. I called the hotel before to confirm they had my reservation including the room I paid to stay in (balcony with specific view) and I asked for an early check in. They mentioned a fee for early check in and I noted that would not be an issue. I was told I was all set. When I arrived at the time of early check in she knew nothing about my early check in and there were no rooms ready. It didn’t appear to me that she even checked. I was not given any further instructions but to come back. We left to get food and then 5 minutes later I got a text that there was a room ready. I also wasn’t given instructions for parking and had to ask for a parking pass to display in the vehicle as well as the tickets for the complimentary icicle. (They’re really tasty by the way, I had the watermelon rum punch and it was delicious). Other than that my stay was excellent. Room was clean and I loved the connection with the pool next door even though it’s a tiny pool it still had a great vibe.

If your going to Phoenix STAY HERE!!

I don't usually leave reviews. However this place was awesome!! My girlfriend and I were in town for my graduation at GCU. This was the most unique and best Hotel we have ever stayed in. My girlfriend made the comment, "just add a fridge and we could live here!" Spacious shower, huge ass bed, great air flow, fun complimentary drinks and popsicles. We'll come back to Phoenix just to stay in this Hotel again.

Used to be great, now.....?

We used to love the Rise Uptown, but over the past few years we've seen it really decline in service and hospitality, not to mention cost. First of all, don't accept a room on the 3rd floor, you will most certainly hear load stomping all night from the rooftop bar. Next, the cold water faucet on the sink did not work at all, only hot water (if it worked). Third, the hot water, was non-existent unless you let the shower run for upwards of 10 min flat, and I'm being serious, hopefully you are not in a hurry to get ready after your sleepless night. Lastly, let's discuss the $75/chair fee for your pool side afternoon. Seems they sold off the pool and bar area to an outside vendor who now rents out the chairs/loungers to anyone in town that wants to pay to play. Will definitely find other options next time in town. Very sorry to see this place slowly decline. Maybe it was a bit telling to overhear others complaining in the lobby when I went in.

The decor and overall aesthetics of this property are really phenomenal. They nailed the mid-century modern with an Arizona flare perfectly. The bedding was dreamy and smelled like lavender. The pool was perfect. The bar area was great and the drinks were terrific. Will definitely be back.
