Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak offers 432 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features iPod docking stations and laptop-compatible safes. This was a great spot to spend a few days with the family. The kids loved the resort, pool, lazy, river, and waterslide! The resort was family friendly, and we will definitely visit again. The only downside was that we had to walk farther than normal to get to the restaurant and there was no breakfast buffet. Additionally, our room did not have a microwave. It made feeding children a little more complex. The carpet in their room was stained and dirty. Probably because they allow pets. I did not want my kids even sitting on the floor. Everything else was clean and enjoyable!

unfortunately, as much as we were looking forward to staying at this property we ended up not being happy. Let's start with check in. It was great that our room was ready as soon as we arrived and were able to check in early but we were not given any direction or information about the property at all. We had no idea where we could get food, directions to the pool and amenities. We got to the room and it was spacious but a bit dark and dingy. There was a distinct smell coming from the carpeting as well. The air conditioning in the room would not cool the room under 74* in the main area and the bedroom had one tiny vent so it was HOT. I did mention it to the front desk and they offered to send maintenance to check it out but i didn't want to be stuck in a room where work was being done. We decided to suffer through the hot nights. We were never notified about construction being done on the property and bc of that work we didn't have access to the 2nd pool. Finally the elevator was a little temperamental. On occasion we stood in it waiting for it to start and it didn't so we would get out and use the stairs. The stairs were outside leading to the main pool area. They were cracked and broken so you had to be careful how you stepped to make sure that the broken tile didn't lift, causing a fall.

Let’s just say I could have booked at the motel 6 and it probably would have been better. This hotel is disgusting. The floors were extremely dirty with black stains all over. Missing cabinet doors. Vents were full of dust. Front desk wasn’t nice. Pictures on the website are very deceiving. The ac stopped working the last night. The elevator didn’t work for two days. Next time I’ll book elsewhere

I thought it would of been helpful to know there was some remodeling taking place. The rooms are very out dated. Some of the pool water was warm. Would of been nice to have the water be more refreshing.

I didn’t like how I had adjoining rooms and I left my connecting door open and house service entered my room with out me being checked out yet and locked the connecting door with a young family member sleeping in the bed by herself!! How safe is this situation? What if something happened to her and her family couldn’t get to her because one of the connecting doors was locked by the staff? There was a reason I left my side unlocked, I don’t understand why they needed to shut it. I called the hotel and they said they would call me back, still haven’t heard back. They also need to get more floats for the lazy river, we couldn’t even get any because people were holding them at this chairs!

The rooms are large and spacious, the staff was super friendly. The bathroom in the room is small like almost have to be on the toilet to shut the door. For some reason the bar at the pool wasn't open even though it's a weekend in July. This location doesn't have free breakfast which was a bummer, and if you go to the water park in the afternoon they might be out of towels also the water park did not have enough tubes for the lazy river but it was fun and definitely great for the whole day.

Property itself was wonderful, great pool and staff was super kind. The room was horrible though. Beds were rock hard to the point that my sides felt bruised when waking up in the morning. Water in the showers was unpredictable and would go from super cold to scorching hot (super unsafe with kids showering) and the room overall seemed dirty and unkept. Very outdated rooms yet the property was well maintained and looked new. Won’t return to this Hilton- it definitely didn’t hold up the Hilton reputation for comfort and modern style. Rooms looked like a Ramada Inn. Disappointing.

The “resort” was horrible. Lots of areas closed due to construction. The rooms were dirty and old. They are in desperate need of an updated. Very little parking, we found a place 5 minutes away in an area with little lighting.
