This hotel is under major construction, we would have appreciated knowing that before we chose to stay. Found a cockroach on the floor the second day. The walk to the river run from our room was at least 1/4 mile. Very disappointing

I would have liked to have known the hotel was under construction. The walk to the river run had to have been at least a quarter mile from our room. We went to the restaurant for an easy dinner our first night in after an 8 hour drive. The waitress told us there was a large group in front of us but didn’t offer any rolls or chops and salsa or anything. When I responded to automated text, no sort of apology was offered, this is the first bad review I have ever left for a hotel after staying in many all over the world. Very disappointing, to say the least.

Do not go while they are under renovations

They said nothing on the website about their whole place being under construction/ renovation. Having to walk around construction and having limited parking due to all of the gates also just making the experience the worst especially when staying with kids. The price was also not worth it.

Rooms are not updated like the pictures. Was really there for the lazy river, but didn’t end up staying. They said they had no updated rooms.

Family Birthday party weekend

Got 2 rooms for the weekend with kids. Rooms were clean enough. Could tell they needed updated, but didn't interfere with quality of our stay. I really liked the layout of the suite with the bathroom being in the middle between the living room and bedroom. We had stayed somewhere else where the only bathroom in the suite was in the bedroom so anyone staying in the living room had to keep coming into the bedroom. I was not aware the hotel was under renovation when I booked the stay. It looks as tho the renovation will be great and is much needed. It did cause limited parking and did not have the full Starbucks like shown in the photos as that is in a different lobby than the one in use. Overall, we didn't really have any complaints about the spaces we used or the service. We got extra towels quickly when needed.

This is an older property, but it's going through a massive renovation, which is great. The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The king bed suite that I got is set up perfectly. The living area that has the outside door can be closed off from the bedroom, which completely silences the bedroom from outside guest traffic and noise. The Hole in the Wall restaurant has tasty food and excellent service. Everything was kept very clean.

We were surprised to see that there was so much construction and that the rooms we're home falling apart. The carpets were stained. There was a odor of mold and smoke. These showers were rusty, furniture was broken. We had stayed in this resort a few years prior and it was nothing in comparison to what it is now, really sad. The shining star was the staff they were friendly. I'm sorry to say we will not be returning.

Found the property run down; disappointed. Full of construction areas, exposed cables; blocked hallways; dust. To get to water park, you have to go around construction areas. The waterpark closes at 7 and the slide at 5!! Pool bar in the hotel is out of operation and worn down; hotel does not have a breakfast area. We were not made aware of the construction going on when booking. Did not meet our expectations at all and does not look like the pictures in the site.
