Awesome resort!

Our experience was excellent at the Talking Stick Resort. The room was very comfortable and loved the bathroom! We ate at the Blue Coyote restaurant several times and the food was great and our server Jasmine was the best! Unfortunately our weather was cool and rainy so we didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub but they were very clean and heated which was nice. Great place to be since we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoors much during our few days in Scottsdale. Very convenient to downtown Scottsdale too

Talking Stick was amazing! when I got there, Expedia had somehow failed to get the reservation to T.S.R. (Will NEVER use Expedia again.) I had made the reservation for Mar. 10, and the desk attendant said that it showed May 11th. This has happened to me with Expedia THREE times now. She was super friendly and actually booked me in at the rate that I thought I had reserved under Expedia. She did NOT have to do that. Highly recommend Talking Stick Resort and I will be back.

Perfect!

Great room, the hot tub and heated pool were amazing! Especially with their late night hours! The casino you have to walk through to get to your room doesn't have any cigarettes smell which is a nice plus

Went for ZZtop concert at the pool. Had plenty of options to stay overnight. Chose the Stick and do glad I did! From pit bosses, dealers to the staff at Ocean Trail the service was tops! The room upgrade to Club level was a nice bonus….it had rained and the sunset was fit for a magazine cover. In short we had a blast!!!

The resort check in time was 4 pm. We arrived at 5:25 pm. The line to check in had over 20 people with only two representatives from the resort to manage check in on a Saturday evening. When we finally had our turn to check in, we were told by the representative that our reservation was cancelled at 5:43 pm, which happened to be while we were patiently waiting our turn to check in. The representative claimed that a credit card issue was why we were cancelled and they would not reinstate our reservation. The representative claimed she was unable to do anything and even speaking with management behind the scenes proved nothing. When asked for the manager on duty to be the one to discuss the situation, we were finally able to have our reservation reinstated. Fortunately, the room was clean and not run down. The restaurant wait staff were slow for service and the food mediocre in taste. We requested a small grace period in check out but were turned down. One would think that since we waited so long for check in, that even 1/2 hour would have been possible. This hotel was overall quite a disappointment.
