The house, as well as the the host/owner Stacy, was excellent. Stacy made the check-in and check-out process very easy. We had 8 guys staying here for a week-long golf trip the first week of March. Plenty of room. Great gathering area for after golf relaxing, shooting pool, playing shuffle board, and cards/poker chips included. The house was very well maintained (all of the essentials and high end appliances for cooking in), and super convenient to all of our golf courses and just minutes from the best restaurants. I would recommend this house in a heart beat. We are already scheduling a future trip and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Our stay at The Big Dog estate FAR exceeded our expectations. It felt like a retreat with the gorgeous space, amenities and of course the stunning backyard with the pool. Our trip was a bucket list experience for 11 family members to be with my father-in-law who is going through some health challenges. It was so good for our souls
 to laugh and truly embrace life with everyone. Stacy and Kurt’s place was so incredible that we barely left the home. Communication with them was perfect. Everything was clean (spotless) and organized. Even the beds were beyond comfortable. The location is within 2 miles of a great grocery store
 we even had a Super Bowl party and cooked our food on the outdoor expansive grill and watched the game on a 100 inch TV. The entire trip was a dream come true. Seriously, we all want to go back tomorrow. 10/10. P.S. We picked fresh fruit (oranges and Mexican Lime) growing in the backyard. It was better than any store-bought fruit!

We spent 5 nights at the Big Dog and I can’t recommend it more. We had the most amazing time staying here with our family while in AZ for my nephew’s wedding. The rooms were spacious, clean and so comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and included all the pots and pans we needed. It was so easy to communicate with Stacy and Kurt. They’d check in daily and would respond within minutes if we had a question. All in all it was such an amazing trip and the best place to stay and make so many beautiful memories!

Luxe home perfect for larger groups

Came here with 14 friends and couldn’t recommend this home more. Tons of amenities, absolutely stunning back yard, lots of shaded room outside to hang out (loved the outdoor TV at night), the grill outside was perfect for weekend lunch, the beds were all cozy, and I’ve truly never had better communication with a host. They’re always available when needed and couldn’t be nicer- thank you Stacy & Kurt!

Wonderful Property

We had a fantastic stay at the “Big Dog.” The house is very spacious with plenty of room for our four couples. We made good use of all of the amenities: pool, hot tub, ping pong, pool table, games, grill and tvs. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great time - as advertised and more!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The communication before check-in, during our stay, and after was wonderful. House was very clean and well equipped. Beds were comfy and clean. Towels were plentiful and clean as well. We used the cornhole boards, pool noodles, shuffleboard, pool table. The pool seemed a little smaller than expected but we still enjoyed it multiple days. Everything from start to finish was great!

Golf weekend and 50th birthday celebration with old friends

Our stay at the big dog property was perfect. We were a group of 15 friends who have known each other for years. We came to Scottsdale from all over Canada and the US. The property was perfect for us. We were interested in a house that offered plenty of room, sporting activities, great lounging areas, a gourmet kitchen, and a pool. The Big Dog met all our expectations and more! Stacy and Kurt were excellent hosts. The level of communication with me was above my expectations. Check in and out was a breeze. All questions were answered within minutes. Unbelievably responsive! Our group was happy to stay close to home for most of the trip watching sports in the enormous TV in the huge games room or hanging out by the pool. We used the ping pong table, cornhole game, and the poker table. It was a paradise for a guys weekend! The property feels very private and the neighborhood was great. The location was very easy for us to get to golf and to get to old town for dinner and drinks on one night. If your group is a bunch of friends looking to have a comfortable weekend lounging in a guys paradise, this is the place! Couldn’t be more happy with our choice of house rental. Perfect Home

We gathered our adult children and grandchildren for a week at the Big Dog Home. It exceeded our expectations. The home was very clean and well appointed. It is a large home and we appreciated all of the separate spaces. The beds were comfortable, there were tv's in almost every space. The kitchen and laundry had high end appliances and the pool and outdoor space was beautiful. Plenty to do here, ping pong, billards, shuffleboard, board games, etc. Both the pool and hot tub were clean and warm (we paid for the pool heat as it was chilly on arrival) The neighborhood is quiet and the location is convenient to grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. It is obvious that the owners care for this home and it shows in even the smallest details. The owner/host was very responsive to our questions and requests. We would definitely return to this beautiful oasis.

The Big Dog was exactly what we needed!

What a fantastic property! The place was beautiful, immaculate, and looked just like the photos (if not better). Several friends from around the country gathered here for a long, warm winter getaway/reunion and we loved every minute of our time there. The pool, hot tub, location, and all the on site games made The Big Dog a perfect choice for us. Excellent!

I booked this house for a guys golf and Spring Training weekend. We had 10 men staying there and the place was perfect for us. Everyone had their own bed, the place is full of fun things to do (shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, cornhole, etc), and the outdoor living area is incredible. The house has everything you’ll need. We cooked a big steak dinner one evening and they had all of the equipment; great grill, double oven, several refrigerators, wine fridge, etc. Stacy was awesome. She made it very easy to communicate and accommodated every request. I can’t say enough good stuff about the entire experience.

This house was beyond great! Plenty of space for our group of 14. The house was clean, well stocked and so FUN! The hosts were very helpful and even left a little treat basket for us. We will definitely be back! ☀
