This was an our second time here and it didn’t disappoint. The service and especially the housekeeping is exceptional. The resort is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The pool is lovely although there isn’t much shade to escape the sun. The area is quite remote with only a few small restaurants nearby but transportation elsewhere in Phuket is easy and inexpensive.

Everything about this hotel is 5⭐️ My wife and I are vegan and we know our options will be limited. The options that are available are very good but we just think that there could easily be more things offered. On request we had soya milk and coconut yogurt but we feel they should be options that are already out and displayed. Also a couple of plant based pastries should be available. And maybe some smoked tofu as an option for vegans instead of cheese. Maybe some scrambled tofu with kala namak. But we still will come back every year this is just a suggestion. We love Amatara.

The staff is first rate. We enjoyed the variety of eating choices. The beach is lovely if you want nature, the pool is perfect for sunbathing. We needed respite and it was the perfect place to be.
