We encountered several issues with cleanliness. The hot tub was not usable (top was off, water was dirty, breeding mosquitoes.). The trash can was full, from previous renters. There were maggots on the inside and outside of the can. The floors were dirty. There were cobwebs in corners, over light fixtures, over the shower. The kitchen table was dirty and extremely wobbly. We fixed the table by tightening up all of the screws. Several clean bath towels smelled bad, I had to wash them before they were used. The owners refunded our cleaning fee.The neighborhood is very nice. Close to everything but very quiet.
Nice quiet neighborhood, we were able to cook numerous meals at the house. You have to go up the stairs to get in, so if you do not navigate stairs very well this may not be for you. It is a bit outdated but still very nice and the price was great. We would stay again.
It's a very nice, quiet place to relax and to get much needed rest! I'd book there again! And it's conveniently located to several attractions, stores, etc. The owners are very friendly and courteous. They quickly respond if you need anything! Highly recommended !
-Nice, quiet neighborhoodThe house seemed overall pretty clean. The only thing is I wish I wouldâve stayed somewhere that doesnât allow pets, only because the smell of pets that had been in the house before we were there was decently strong. The carpets and stuff could probably use a deep cleaning just to make the house smell a little better.
We were looking for a place to stay for one night only for our family while in town, and decided to book this property. The bathrooms in the sink sinks and tub had tons of black hairs in them. There were multiple places where cobwebs were hanging from light fixtures, and corners of ceilings. Worst of all one of our daughters woke up, covered in bedbug bites. Even with the close proximity to everything, as we liked, we will not ever book this property again.
Couldnât get fireplace to work. Bathroom doors in hallway bathroom couldnât be locked; the one going into the bedroom wouldnât even close securely; the doorknob on the one going into the hallway was installed backwards. There wasnât a toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Not enough hot water to last through a shower at night. The basement was too cold for anyone to sleep in. We were there in December, and there wasnât one Christmas decorationânot even a wreath on the door.
