One day before arrival I received a message from the host requesting a selfie and a selfie with my drivers license in order to receive check in information. Iâve never had to do this for a vrbo stay before, but I obliged anyway. After doing so, I never received check in information. After we began our three hour trip to the area, I messaged the host asking for check in information several times during the drive but never heard back until we were ten minutes away. During that time, I tried to call a number provided by vrbo and there was no answer. Vrboâs customer support was also unhelpful. All messages I received from the host from this point seemed to be automated messages. Essentially, I felt ghosted by the host. The actual home was fine- plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, etc. The location was great for getting to things inPigeon Forge. However, I would not use this host again due to their extremely poor communication skills.
