Very cute and comfy interior. Not much exterior wise - large grassy yard and small covered grilling area. Really a residential neighborhood. Very convenient to FDR park
This cabin was perfect for my husband, grandson and myself. We had our own bathroom in our bedroom and so did he. He is 7 and was so excited to have his own bath in his bedroom! Very roomy and kitchen well stocked. The only downside was the towels. All the washcloths were wet? Like they were put up from the dryer but did not have time to finish? So thankfully there is a washer/dryer in the cabin and I was able to dry everything. Aside from that little issue we had a fabulous time. I was able to fix breakfast and supper in the cabin each day. It was quiet and so nice. Iâm very thankful to the owners for allowing us to use their property!
Pros: location is great if you are visiting Callaway Garden. Bed was very comfortable. Very cute looking cabin.
Cons: Itâs an old trailer cabin so it smells but smell wasnât the big issue for us. The pillow cover wasnât washed. We could smell someoneâs head. That made us question if all the beddings were washed. Towels smelled. Rugs smelled like old socks.
We enjoyed our stay, 2 nice size bedrooms downstairs, but the loft is only accessible with a pull-down attic type ladder. It would be ok for older children but not safe for kids under 10 or so. Could be stocked better in the kitchen if youâre planning on doing a lot of cooking. The beds are FIRM, which I loved ! Also, no dishwasher. Even with these few inconveniences we will still stay here again. It was very peaceful.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here! We were very close to Callaway Gardens, and the cabin itself was clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare the food that we brought with us. The other houses in the area left a little to be desired, but we would highly recommend this cabin for a family getaway or weekend trip for a couple.
The place was nice, but it was very cold during our stay and operating the central heat and air was very confusing. Also, we could have used more blankets on the bed as it was very cold trying to sleep at night. The coffee maker uses 12 cup cones not round filters.round filters.
Visiting family for a few days and this was conveniently near. Primarily a place to sleep - as mentioned by others the mattress is VERY firm. The vibe is rustic woodsy. We enjoyed the antics of the chickens that live across the street.
My wife and I brought my Ma who is 90 and she had the master suite and we the other. Nice to have two en-suites. and the kitchen had everything needed for home cooked meals and coffee. Quiet neighborhood and close to all the annuities. Highly recommend.
Great place for a small family! Host was amazing and helpful. Cabin was clean and had plenty of room for us. Really close to FDR and Callaway Gardens. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We had a very enjoyable stay in Pine Mountain, and this cabin was so clean and comfortable. Good food in area, good shopping, and Pumpkins at Callaway was fun!
The cabin was cute, clean and well equipped with everything we needed with all the kitchen items we expected except for a dishwasher. Because it was my niece and me we did just fine without it. A larger group may have missed it though. The location is convenient to all the places we wanted to experience. We appreciated the games and the electric Char-Broil grill in the breezeway and the breezeway furniture. It was chilly our last night due to the first round of rain and wind from Hurricane Helene, so we even fired up the adorably cozy fireplace just to see if it worked and it did! We enjoyed our stay very much!
