Vacation

Beautiful cabin and property. Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, and sitting around the fire at night. Very peaceful. Would stay there again. Close to what we wanted to do around the area.

Could be wonderful with a few changes

Great location and space for a family. We were told there would be a code to enter ina keypad to get in but there was no keypad. When I tried to reach someone I was given another keypad code and they didn't understand there was no keypad on the property. You'd think they would know their property better. So we hunter around and found a lock box and had to wait for a code to get the key out of that. Bugs were everywhere, spiders in all rooms on ceilings and corners, needs a better dusting of ceilings. Dishes were still caked in food so we had to re wash everything before using it. Beds were on very flimsy frames with no support. Every tiny move made lots of loud noises, not a good sleep. Lights on deck didn't work so we used flood lights only. Floors are coming up everywhere and they tried to cover some of the spots with rugs but they are in bad shape. The space and area are incredible. They just need to make some updates and do a better job cleaning between guests and it would be great. Really need to know more about the property considering no one knew we didn't have a keypad to enter and couldn't even get in when we arrived. Also, paid a pet fee but found someone to watch the dog. Let them know ahead of arrival and they weren't sure if they could refund that fee and never got back to me on it.

Disappointed

Our stay started with not being able to get in the house
 I had received no fewer than three texts and or emails giving instructions on the code to use but it didn’t work. Called and were given an entirely different code..The house could definitely use some TLC! When we walked in there was an odor from the beginning, not sure what it was but it never went away..There was a small rug laying in the middle of the floor over by the bedrooms, which was covering up the flooring which was all jacked up, like who does that, just fix and replace the flooring, it is a definite trip hazard! The bathroom by the bedrooms had a doorknob that kept falling off!The master bedrooms closet door was completely off the track and basically just laying up against the closet!I think all of the windows had dead bugs laying in the sills!The coffee pot had not been emptied, the old filter and coffee grinds were left in it!The dishwasher was left with all the dishes in it, which we didn’t touch, we just left it as is!One of the reasons we rented this place was for the hot tub, to be able to enjoy after a long day of hiking
 well that didn’t happen because half of our group being hot tub owners, know what a clean hot tub should look like, this was not it, the filter was disgusting! Overall this place could use a deep clean and repairs!Now the good points, great location, front porch was great and the hammock swings by the fire pit were awesome! The Management Co needs to do better on this one!

Just a day stay over

Property from the photos was nice and the fixtures where very nice as well as the beds. Floor is not level with soft spots and trip hazards. Not sure why there was a pool ball missing but we dealt with it. Fire pit area was nice, but stairs down were soft and missing the rung in the middle of the steps. The door lock had to be replaced by maintenance for us to get in. There was a horrible smell when we went into the home, but they did have Febreze.

Central air issues

This home was beautiful and the location was amazing. All the little things we easy to over look, however, when the air conditioning broke and they refused to provide us with a repair or fans the little things became an issue. The kitchen was poorly stocked with your basic needs (working can opener, a pitcher for ice tea and more than 5 forks). The flooring was uneven and soft, and the stairs to the fire pit will hurt someone if not replaced. There were hot tub test strips all over the deck and inside the hot tub.My family still enjoyed the weekend together but better guest services is a must.

Unclean, unsanitary

Upon arrival, there was a large yellow stain on master bedspread, bathrooms smelled of sewage, master shower door unable to close, hot tub dirty, visible yellow sludge along edges of water. Deck stairs to backyard are hazardous, rotting, and flex as you walk. Dead mouse in trap in basement along with filthy toilet, laundry room unclean. Chose not to do laundry here. Left early due to storms hitting Kentucky and not wanting to seek shelter in basement. here.

Hot tub is great. House is nice. Does need some work to the floors Spear bedroom needs a TV The outlet on the deck does not work The door from the kitchen to the basement doesn’t lock. Deck needs some work done to it. The water hose is terrible. We did have a good time and the house was nice over all. Just need some repair work done to it.

Good stay

Overall stay was good, there was an issue with the basement door being wide open and not locking. Basement door at night somehow ended open at 3am and it was a little scary. House was clean and nice stay overall. Room for all of us.

Great stay at a great location with great amenities!

We loved our stay! Great for people with pets - the attached trail is awesome! Highly recommend, especially for people looking for local access to hiking and site seeing! The on-property hiking trail access is awesome, we took some amazing photos! Would stay here again without hesitation.

Beware

To start, we purchased the early check-in. The code did not work when we arrived. We finally got access 15 minutes before our original check-in. Don’t fall for the early check-in - it is just a scam. Upon entering, the smell of mold/mildew hits you. The floors are delaminating thru out the house. Soft spots are in the kitchen. It is a trip hazard. There were bugs on most of the window sills. Mice were seen below the deck and in the house. Cover your food! The mold smell is coming from the basement. We opened the door to look for a broom and the smell hits you right in the face
 watch out for all the mouse traps going down the stairs. The fire pit was so full of ashes you could not start a good fire. There was no way to empty the fire pit. The fireplace in the bedroom does not work. The pool table is not level and is useless. The games for the kids to play are all missing parts, so they are useless. There are no laundry appliances to use. There is a bad sewage smell in the bathrooms. The shower does not drain. The kitchen was dirty when we arrived, so dirty in fact you can write with your fingers on the stove from grease. I compare this to staying at a cheap hotel. I contacted the owner but got no reply, so here is my review
 The view is great.

Anniversary getaway

The place was lovely! Me and my husband wanted to get away to enjoy the outdoors. We loved the hot tub and the campfire area. So relaxing!! The pool table is in a tight spot. We had everything we needed. Loved the place!!!!

Broken but beautiful

We were unable to enter with code provided. Apparently the property had a break in and door lock repaired- basement exterior door open and unlockable- called for repair Vinyl flooring damaged and coming up from floor in several rooms, master bedroom door locked a member in snd coukd not be unlocked from inside, coffee majer and fishwasher did not function correctly, washer and dryer in wet basement that had been unsecured and standingvwater near electrical outlet. Refrigerator kick playe pulled away and cut/ trip hazard.

Huc house

Needs some insde work. Flooring needs replaced, door lock falling apart and hard to open. Door latch needs work. Freezer not making ice, machine not working. Outside furniture needs replaced some broken. Needs some updating. Overall good stay, near alot of the attractions.

Great property close to a wedding venue we attended for the weekend! Easy access in and out, as well as fantastic customer service if we needed anything. Every was to be expected as listed. Cute little coffee shop and bbq place right around the corner as well as some mini golf!
