The view is incredible, parking is free and convenient. There is a restaurant nearby which is good because the only other place nearby is for pizza. The only drawback is the local beaches all say private. The local lighthouse is the best local attraction. The beds are firm, water pressure is decent, and sofa was comfortable. The breakfast is very minimal, and the WiFi didn't really work, but the staff were friendly. Would be great to have an activity or bike rental. A good place for a day getaway to unplug and unwind.
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The desk staff friendly and welcoming. But the view was the real selling point. Our room had a walk out balcony that literally overlooked the waters edge. The soothing sound of light waves splashing against the rocks. And the dock that ran out into the water had a pair of nesting ospreys. I watched for hours. We hope to come back for a longer time soon.
Cute little hotel with amazing views. Front desk staff was very friendly. Loved the suite setup so that we werenât all cramped in one room. The pull out was surprisingly comfortable. Could use some updated balcony furniture. The footrest was broken off one and a nail was sticking out. The other had no footrest. Breakfast was basic. I get not having hot options at such a small place but the bagged waffles were soggy. I would have at least liked bagels or muffins. Could have been that we went late but options were limited. The restaurant next door is amazing must go there for dinner! Overall, we would stay here again.
The room was nice and clean , the view was amazing the staff are bety nice people the online thing is the breakfast , itâs says continental but was only white bread cereal milk and coffe
a little oasis- water each side, and super friendly hosts, and the restaurant next door, same friendliness, you can feel like a local, and the place, affordable and comfortable, unpretentious, quiet, a secret little getaway from the madness of Washington, DC- been before and will be back
Breakfast was described as hot ⊠it wasnât plus there were no spoons for yogurt, the
Bagels, bread and muffins were all pre split and packed in zip bags ⊠tacky. Described as having a kitchen yet no plates, cutlery, mugs, glasses or bowls ⊠No sink stoppers.
This Property was dated and worn reminding me more of an older fishing camp. But the views are second to none and the cost for the view was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again for the views alone . Breakfast bar was limited which is fine and over all a great day getaway spot.
The young lady that checked us in was very nice, but the property was just very old and in need of repairs. I could have sworn I booked a suite thru Expedia with 2 bedrooms but the confirmation just says âsuiteâ so it was unclear and we went with the room they gave us, 2 queens and a fold out couch. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, the key card detector on door was duct taped, there was a hole in the wall that was filled with putty but not painted and the toilet ran loudly all night. The couch cushions had stains all over it. Beautiful view, the hotel just needs some repairs.
This hotel has seen better days. It's very run down and many things need to be replaced: toilet accessories, faucets, furniture, lamps.
There is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done. It's the only hotel in the area so they have a monopoly on where people can stay outside of Lexington Park. The views are really great.
