The room was large and clean. However, the coffee maker didn't work right (fixed after complaint) and most importantly, the water pressure was insufficient for the shower head (not fixed), the shower head old. On the second day, our room wasn't made up yet at 4:30pm, and when we complained, the staff responded unprofessionally. They badly need training. Management should stay in its own rooms from time to time, so things get fixed. And it would be good if a manager were around when customers ask to speak to them. Finally, we paid $32 for valet parking per night, and during the last night, the car was just parked on the street. The hotel charges 4-star prices for a 1star experience. We left very unhappy.

Excellent spacious room in a prime location walkable to local restaurants and bar scene. I slept very well because it was quiet. All the staff were so kind and greeted me in the hallways, it was a nice touch! I felt welcome and safe as a solo traveler.

The area looks unsafe. Every sound from the street can be heard in the room. Very little attention to detail - room fridge was left unplugged, so we couldn’t chill any beverages. Hotel restaurant did not have utensils - how is that possible?

we stayed three nights. Housekeeping never came into the room. Finally on our last night, we had to call a the main desk for fresh towels. Tiles on the shower floor were slippery and I fell in the shower. Door to the room was extremely hard to open and close. It definitely needs maintenance. Found the safe in room lock. Made multiple requests to have it opened. This was never resolved.

Although the rooms were large, they also felt very dated with the flooring and general layout. I have been in hotels that were converted warehouses or business previously. Not sure of the history of this building, but it is due for some serious updating and remodeling. Other than that, it was clean, safe, quite and convenient for visiting the East Liberty & Homewood areas.

Restaurant was out of French fries ( how does that even happen) then when I got my burger it was still raw and undercooked in the middle. Told the waitress, didn’t have to pay, then we went to the Taco spit down the street. Also the menu is limited
