Honestly, the only thing that wasn’t up to par was the check-in and parking process. There were three terminals but only one hotel employee checking people in at 6:30pm on a Saturday night so I feel the hotel was simply understaffed. It took over 30 minutes to check in and I had to move my truck twice due to the congestion in the small roundabout area behind the hotel entryway. There was no sense of urgency with a line of people at least 10 deep to check in and thankfully I didn’t have plans at a specific time that evening or else I would not have made it to a game or dinner reservation on time as a result of the slow pace when a typical check-in takes about five minutes or so as all you’re doing is showing ID and swiping your credit card for incidental charges. Otherwise the room was large, clean, and accommodating, and the location is fantastic as it’s within walking distance to many restaurants and bars and the two stadiums on the north shore. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends but also caution them to arrive with ample time to check in and get settled prior to any scheduled event they may have going on.

There was a line of 15 people checking in and one employee. It took about an hour. The first set of keys was to the wrong room and the second time the keys didn’t work. Both times I came back down to get new ones. The woman was doing the best should could but it was not acceptable to not have more staff. My room smelled like curry so I’ll be checking out tomorrow to find another place to stay. Only one employee at check out as well. Do better management. If you are going to advertise Marriott, live up to the standards. It’s not fair to the employees or guests!

Staff very pleasant, offered to hold luggage until room was available. Given parking pass, no parking anywhere in lot being a Steelers Game, I was offered to park in the circle. Need better communication with no parking spaces left , wasted 30+ minutes driving in mobbed parking lot. Room was very spacious, bed was terrible with sagging in the middle, never in any travel, experienced a bed in such poor shape. Morning complimentary breakfast was very nice with a wide variety of breakfast options, staff very attentive keeping food refreshed.

The stay was really great. Just a couple issues. We asked for more towels and washclothes, didn't receive them. Had to call the next morning. The water in the shower was so temperamental freezing cold the scalding hot. The room was very nice. The breakfast was good as well.

Great people, but....

Room was perfect for large family. I just had to bring more plates/cuttlery, which I expected. Breakfast was good, kids 3-16 y/o all ate well. Staff was wonderful, all polite and kind to my children and me. There was confusion with housekeeping and our room was not serviced in the 4 days there except when I called to have trash taken out. Hotel showed its age and room could have been cleaner, but wasn't Dirty. Our biggest issue was that my children did not notice that the pool chemicals were out of balance on our second day. When they returned from swimming all 4 that were in the water that day had significant eye pain/burning and facial skin irritation that lasted for 12-36 hours. It was terrible. All of my kids were very upset that I made the pool off limits for the rest of our stay, especially because it is their facorite part of staying at a hotel.

The room was pretty clean and almost everything was perfect for us. We are not very picky BUT I expect hotel beds to be GOOD at least. The beds here are awful. The main king bed was almost as uncomfortable as the pull out couch. I did not sleep well here. The staff and front desk people were really nice, so I didn't want to have anything bad to say.
