This well maintained 2 bedroom home is built to take advantage of the 180 degree views of the lovely Placencia lagoon and Mayan mountain views. Enjoy the sunsets from the comfort of your hammock, deck or grab the fishing rod and plant yourself on your own private dock. Or perhaps a sunset paddle in the kayaks! It is the end house on a cul de sac, so a private, quiet location nestled in the shade of tall coconut palms. The property is fenced in for even more privacy. You are just a few minutes walk to the nearest bars, restaurants, grocery store and beach or grab the 4 bikes provided.

There are two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Both have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans and plenty of storage. This home is family friendly with a travel bed provided for infants/ toddlers and the convenience of having a bathtub.

The bathroom has beautiful granite counters, a single vanity, a shower and a bathtub.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware you will need, including fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, coffee pot/espresso machine and blender for those sunset tropical drinks. The kitchen is finished with locally sourced hardwood cabinets and granite countertops.

The open plan living and dining area merge with the open kitchen. There is comfortable lounge seating for four, plus a separate dining table and chairs. There is another air conditioning unit here to keep you cool and comfortable.

There are double doors leading from the living area and kitchen onto the large deck - one of the best features of the house. Here you will find outdoor furniture, including a hammock, and this will become your favorite spot to spend time - reading, relaxing, keeping an eye out for passing dolphins or manatees, and of course for watching the sunsets over the lagoon and mountains. Two bikes and two kayaks are provided for your enjoyment!

A washing machine and dryer are also provided for your convenience. Private parking is onsite. While it is just a 2-3 minute walk to the main road, and from there the beach, grocery stores, bars and restaurants, we do recommend car rental for at least some of your stay to enjoy all the Placencia peninsula has to offer.

Wonderful House

We loved our stay at Poinciana Villa. The unit was very peaceful and comfortable; and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved sitting on the deck and down on the dock to watch the beautiful sunsets over the mountains. We enjoyed using the kayaks and bicycles.

Perfect and delightful paradise!

This home was a delight. Clean, comfortable, very well equipped, and the view is amazing! We had most of our meals out on the deck. We also used the bicycles and the kayaks. The location is peaceful and quiet, and has a great tropical feel. Herbert was quick to respond and very helpful with any questions. We would love to return again!

Beautiful property

The home, view and amenities were all perfect. Very clean and comfortable! Bonus to have both a washer and dryer available and filtered water to drink out of the tap. The downside for us was the distance to get to everything. You can definitely easily walk to the beach but a drive is required for everything else.

Peaceful easy stay

My son and I stayed at the Ponciana Villa for 6 days and the house was all we needed for a relaxing stay. It was quiet, comfortable and convenient to everything. Beautiful views of the lagoon and mountains. Plenty of nearby good restaurants. Seine Bight has a nice grocery market. The airport and village are not far away. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

relaxing in the tropics!

great place to kick back and enjoy the tropical setting I really liked acssess to the kayaks(2) and the bikes only thing I was disappointed with the fact you could not swim in the lagoon but it was not that big of a deal as we could ride bikes less than a 1/4 mile to a beach on the carabean and swin their overall a great place. and the host was very nice1

Wonderful Hideaway

Herbert couldn't have been more welcoming! Erin sorted a small issue that popped up with much grace. The house is amazing g, clean and beautiful. The deck and dock had beautiful views. We were off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay again!!

pleasant way to start and end the day

the house is positioned nicely on the lagoon side. I should say it has a small dock which is ideal for sitting out on and contemplating life :) very relaxing. we did not spend a lot of time in the house, as we were always on the go, but when there, it met our needs nicely. air worked, water worked, tv worked. It would have been nice to have a microwave, as I had a yearning for popcorn on night. But other than that, it was great. I would recommend it to anyone needing a modest place to say while in Placencia.
