The staff was very helpful and friendly. The all inclusive was very convenient we didn’t have to eat anywhere else. The hotel is very clean the ambiance is great. Having animals around the hotel was a plus.

This place is beautiful with the wild animals and the jungle. Breakfast left a little to be desired but our overall experience was fantastic and have already recommended to many of our friends and are planning on returning next year.

Closeness to the Xcaret park. We did not like lack of amenities, entertaiment. Pool bars close too early 6:00pm when there are lots of people in pool. We could not believe they would just shutdown the bars. Very limited music in pool areas. Don't expect to go back.

The service was great; I only wish they had considered that we booked two rooms instead of one and provided a connecting room so that we could all be together. That was my only concern; otherwise, everything was great.

Convenient accessibility to Xcaret. Large resort with multiple dining options and two large buffets. Sea Weed was very minimal even though a lot of the beaches were impacted by this. Staff did a great job all around at this resort. Would definitely go again.

The property was beautiful. Hotel room was nice and clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Check in took about a hour, I’m not that patient. Nice private secluded beach and bar drinks were delicious! The food was average, the best part is the fresh fruit made to order omelets and Pacos Tacos. The steakhouse was terrible but the oriental restaurant was good. We weren’t really there for the food… we were able to find enough food that was a ok. Future recommendations: Book dinner at an offsite restaurant one of the nights. You can stay and enjoy the resort and Xcrate with no excursions needed, there is enough todo. We ventured out: the sail boat 1/2 day snorkel tour was worth it and a great experience with professional and polite staff. The parasailing was a time suck. The experience parasailing was great and boat crew was fantastic but the transportation and waiting at Maroma Beavh Club was a huge inconvenience, plan to waste half your day for a 1 hour activity if parasailing. It was difficult getting a ride back to our resort and the hosting parasailing beach club, Maroma, was pretty rude about it and the driver/transportation even ruder with aggressive driving… seemed inconvenienced . I’d recommend booking through a different company for parasailing instead of the one the hotel used. Maybe Xcaret or Amstar would maybe a better choice.

The inlet with little sandy beach and turquoise calm water was my favorite part of this vacation. Comfy cosy bed. Beautiful grounds with Fun animals roaming around. Staff that takes care of u, Lesli, Camila, and Andrea at building 22 were weary welcoming and helpful. Food was good for us, picky people may disagree. Overall, it was great vacation, we would love to come back soon.

Great hotel, near by Xcaret park. We always get the full access to the park as well. The food is good , the hotel Staff do their best toned you well and maintain the property. It’s a great location 15 min drive to Playa Del Carmen. Beach is great for kids.

Despite having booked a junior suite, I was given the most secluded room with no view. When I complained to the hotel reception, they explained that the reason we had been given that room was simply because we had made our reservation through EXPIDIA, and they reserved the best rooms for those who booked directly with them. It was also a struggle to get the right number of towels (I only asked for at least one per person), but the response was that the hotel was full. The hotel is generally nice, and the staff was pleasant, but my indignation stems from the fact that we were treated differently—and by differently, I mean less well—simply because we had booked through EXPIDIA. This treatment feels unfair and discriminatory, and it has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Our experience was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, several issues ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. From the moment we arrived, we encountered terrible customer service, starting with the front desk and bellboy. The bellboy aggressively demanded tips, and when we didn’t give money, he threatened to throw our suitcases aside. We reported this behavior, but management did absolutely nothing—in fact, they seemed to laugh about it, which was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. We also paid to upgrade our room expecting better service and the amenities that were clearly listed, but once again, we didn’t receive what was promised. We requested to speak with a manager several times, but no one ever followed up with us. Another major disappointment was the restaurant reservation system. Although they advertise multiple à la carte dining options as part of the all-inclusive experience, they only allow guests to make three reservations—even if you’re staying for over a week. For the rest of the stay, you’re left with the buffet, which gets repetitive and doesn’t meet the expectations set by the resort’s promotions. Overall, this was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve had. Poor service, lack of accountability, false advertising, and staff who are more interested in tips than hospitality made this stay incredibly frustrating. We expected so much more from a resort that claims to offer an “all-inclusive” experience.
