I did a tour for from the recommended staff member from a outside company they had on site. This company lied about one of the stores having authentic jewelry/silver. When I questioned them Max the man I spoke to highly praised them and said everything was real. Same at the store that they took us to in Puerto Morelos. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Food was subpar at the buffet. I did not like the ceviche or aguachiles options which I was excited for. The restaurant food was delicious. Pool chairs around the pool do get busy. Activities newer the pool were very fun

Overall, the stay was a bit disapointing. There is a beach with fine sand and a beautiful sea - but there are constructions on that beach, plus access is on the side of the hotel, not in front of it. The room had an issue with leaking water in the bathroom. It took 2 days to get it fixed properly. The documentation provided at checkin was lacking. Food at the Blue Moon was good; less so at the buffet. We were promised a free wine bottle at checkin, we had to ask for it four time before getting it. On the bright side, the room was clean and the staff friendly.

From check-in to check-out, the staff worked to ensure we and all the other guests had an enjoyable vacation. From the “Hola”s to the bartenders, from the sports bar cheering to the restaurant food option, everything was 5-stars. Thanks again to Margarita for the fantastic snorkeling and Cenotes tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. The property is well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive. The only negative for us is the party pool. There were a lot of highly intoxicated people in and around it and the thumping noise from the music could be heard 4 buildings away. I definitely would not stay at this resort during peak season but the number of people were perfect during this low season. The buffet food was very good. French (Blue Moon), Charro (Mexican), Italian (Dolce Vita) restaurants were just okay. We didn’t try the Japanese restaurant. Pizza by the pool was very good. Overall good resort. Just know that it’s a party place for sure.
