Imagine yourself far from the hustle and bustle of the city, where nature and tranquility surround you. In Plazac, a small village in the heart of Périgord, a house for six people awaits you, nestled in a quiet and secluded location, ideal for rejuvenating holidays.



What makes this place special is its outdoor pool that allows you to dive in and cool off in complete tranquility, spend hours swimming, or simply perfect your tan, book in hand. Its large garden is just as enjoyable for lunch on the terrace or for meals with a view of a clear, starry sky.



The rooms of the house preserve their old stones and exposed beams on the ceiling, which add an undeniable charm, with a large wood-burning stove warming the atmosphere in winter for convivial moments by the fire.



This stone house of 138 m² has a dining area with a large table. It is open to the living room with its sofa, television, and wood stove. You will also discover, on the ground floor, a fully equipped open kitchen with its oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and all the necessary utensils to cook in complete peace of mind. You will also have access to the first bedroom with a double bed (140/190) as well as the first bathroom.



Upstairs, you will access the two other bedrooms: one of them has a double bed and the second has two single beds (90/190). A workspace is also available if you need to work remotely. You will also find a mezzanine with an additional double bed if needed, as well as a second bathroom with a separate toilet. The house has a washing machine and three parking spaces for total comfort.

Beautiful and peacful setting, pefect for our family stay.

We had a very enjoyable week at this Gite. The pool, gardens and view were a particular highlight. The house is traditional and well serviced. Barbara was very helpful on arrival, and with communication prior to arrrival. The local produce left for us to enjoy was gratefully received and delicious! There is plenty of seating inside and out, which was perfect for our family of 6, and meant we could enjoy all areas of the house and garden, dependant on the time of day and temperature. Overall the house was clean and tidy, but a reduction on kitchen items would have made for easier cleaning and the pantry cupboard may need a clearout, as seemed to be more leftovers from previous guests, rather than useful items. We were lucky with the weather, which meant the upstairs bedrooms were very warm, but fans were provided, which was great! We would happliy return in the future.

Superb house in a superb location

This property had everything we like - large living areas, good sized bedrooms, a large veranda so we could always sit and eat outside, and a fabulous swimming pool. If we needed anything at all then the local property managers Bernard and France were easily contactable and willing to help. We sadly had some misfortune with a car breakdown on the way there but Bernard tried to help us with a local mechanic before we drove home. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great week, which of course went too fast(!), but would firmly recommend this house as a great place to stay.

We stayed two weeks at the property. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, however, we came across some issues. To bathroom did have dirt from previous guests, and the thirth room was in the corridor.

Zalig huisje. Grote tuin met meerdere zitgelegenheden buiten en uitzicht in verschillende richtingen. Enige minpuntje is slechte akoestiek tussen de kamers.

Excellent emplacement

Propriété conforme à l'annonce avec un emplacement idéal au coeur de la vallée de la Vézère, dans le silence et le calme de la campagne. Lever de soleil depuis la terrasse arrière, et coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse avant. Mention spéciale sur la piscine suffisamment profonde et grande pour nager. Tolle Lage zur Erkundung des Perigord

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche im August 2019 in diesem hervorragend gelegenen Haus mit 5 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 3 Jugendliche) verbracht. Die Lage ist für die Erkundung des Perigord aus unserer Sicht perfekt und die ruhige Lage ist einfach fantastisch. Die Fotos geben das Haus sowohl von innen als auch außen real wieder und der Pool war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Insbesondere waren genug Liegestühle und Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Ein Bäcker ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto in Plazac zu erreichen und der nächste Supermarkt in ca. 15- 20 Minuten. Die Kommunikation mit den netten Eigentümern war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Alle Frage wurden sehr zügig beantwortet und auch eine Suche nach einem im Haus vergessen geglaubten E-Book nach Rückkehr wurde sofort "eingeleitet". Wir haben es dann doch noch im Auto wiedergefunden:-) Die Nachbarn, die die Übergabe des Hauses übernommen haben, sind sehr nett und die Kommunikation klappte trotz unserer bescheidenen Französischkenntnisse gut.

Vacances familiales au calme

Excellent séjour de 2 semaines avec nos deux enfants (5 et 10 ans). La maison était bien adaptée à nos besoins et correspond au descriptif. De nombreux espaces extérieur tout autour de la maison avec derrière, une magnifique vue sur la vallée. La piscine est grande et sécurisée. Accueil adorable, encore merci. Voiture indispensable pour visiter cette belle région.

Herrlich entspannend

Wir (Familie mit 2 jugendlichen Söhnen) haben 2,5 wunderbare Wochen im Juli hier verbracht. Das Haus entspricht genau den Beschreibungen, die Bilder stimmen alle. Alles funktionierte perfekt und die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, insbesondere gibt es ungewöhnlich viele Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Auch Geschirr und Gläser gibt es ausreichend und es gibt sehr viel Spielzeug (von Federball bis Boule war alles dabei) . Die netten Nachbarn (ca. 100m entfernt) waren jederzeit ansprechbar, falls man etwas brauchte. Haus und Grundstück bieten sehr viel Platz und Wetter und Temperatur außen wie innen waren perfekt. Der Pool ist schön groß und einfach nur super. Die Wege zu Supermärkten und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mitunter weit und gewunden, das Haus liegt dafür aber sehr schön auf einer Anhöhe und absolut ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
