Great location on the Cabot Trail. The restaurant on site had excellent food. The room we stayed in had no fridge or microwave. Room was a little run down but clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and in need of a mattress replacement.

We found the accomodation pleasant overall but the shower gave us problems. The shower diverter redirecting the hot & cold taps to the shower head were difficult to control, making it difficult to control water temperature. No fridge in room. Mattresses were very comfortable.

Great location, beautiful views, comfortable and clean room. Shower was very disappointing. Hot & cold water did not mix. Cold water was coming from the spout and only hot water from the shower head, so we couldn't take shower at all. Also the shower head was blocked and was just trickling. May be just our room, unfortunately. The previous guests who stayed here might not have made the staff about this issue. I mentioned this at the front desk and they took note of that. Food was amazing. Trina was amazing. We requested vegetarian food without cross contamination. She went extra mile to inform the chef, made sure we were comfortable. She gave suggestions about the places around to visit. Thank you, Trina.

Staff were wonderful. One complaint was the bed was not comfortable. We would have preferred a king as with queen we rolled to the middle and the bed squeaked every time we moved. Also no hair blower - otherwise I would stay here again!

Typical 50's style motel. Well maintained room. We had a good breakfast in their restaurant and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. This was our 2nd stay, we were there in 2023 as well and if we're ever in the area we'll stay there again.

The Inn is older but it was clean. There was no fridge which I needed for medications. There is no microwave. There is a nice restaurant on site and little gift shop on site. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We felt the price was high.

The WiFi never worked in spite of promises that “a guy would arrive at 5 o’clock who could fix it). So no Internet and then the tv in one of the bedrooms (there was no sitting room) stopped working due to lack of connectivity.

Our room was in need of a reno - looked like it was pulled from the 1970s. Internet had no bandwidth, the Mountainview view blocked cell service - so not sure if that was all cell service or just Bell Mobility (our provider, as I saw other people using their phones). TV was on the smaller size as to what I find is normal in Motel rooms. On-site restaurant was nice. Good food portions. The size of the restaurant was "large" for the amount of patrons. We were visiting just after busy season, so maybe that was the reason why. Overall, nice halfway point on the Cabot Trail if you use Baddeck as your gateway.

Good location,beautiful area, rooms need upgrades.

The bed was very soft and uncomfortable. A/C was too loud to sleep, luckily able to open windows to a cool rainy evening. A challenge to find power in room to charge devices. Cell service and Wifi very poor.
