Our Victorian King Suite had a large deck that faced the ocean wharf and had especially amazing view of the sunsets. Nice deck furniture to relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere. We also had the restful sound of ocean waves breaking in the wharf overnight that we could hear from the bed. The suite had a separate area for the king bed and small kitchen. There was a separate area for relaxing with a warm, comfy couch positioned so we could see the water and sky. There was a fireplace across from the couch that provided cozy heat. Great bathroom with a large shower and tub. The staff was great, especially Karen. She made us feel so welcome, we can’t wait to go back. There are also two great places to eat literally below the hotel. Excellent pizza at one, and great seafood at the other. The whole experience was five stars all the way.

Very comfortable, clean room. Ocean views and sounds of waves were so lovely. Loved the oversized tub! Staff was probably the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. Also connecting to the hiking trail right from the hotel was a big bonus. I always expect continental breakfast to be gross, too sweet and processed but theirs was excellent and fresh! We even had a lot of fun playing a borrowed board game

We absolutely enjoyed the ocean view from our top floor room. It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset! We rated it 4 stars because the room is a bit outdated. The carpet, fixtures, and amenities could stand to be updated. Overall, we were thrilled with staying here as a stop along our Highway 1 road trip!

What a lovely little gem hidden up above the pier at Point Arena. Beautiful views, warm and friendly staff and a clean and comfy room. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

The folks running the place are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The ocean views and balcony were wonderful. There are fireplaces and Jacuzzis in the room. It was super peaceful. You are definitely in a small beach town, so you may be a bit limited as far as food and beverage options, but they make it work. There are restaurants and a coffee/smoothie place right down the hill.

Pros: Front desk lady was great. The location was very good. The courtyard was nice. Cons: It's a very old property. It shows tons of wear and tear. My bathroom, shower, and jetted tub were all a little dirty or had bugs/spiders. There is no AC and no ceiling fan. Breakfast is limited and doesn't start until 8am. I left before that. There are no blackout curtains. You hear people using the steps on both levels, you hear people closing doors, and you will hear people walking above you. It's a very noisy place if you are on lower level. I thought it was a very unique place but way overpriced. I did not get a comfortable night's sleep.

Nice, quiet location, in a harbor on the ocean. Hotel has a vintage vibe, with all the modern amenities. Owner/Operator adds a personal touch and has a flair for taking everything about the property to the next level. Just walk around and notice all the subtle details. Excellent!
