Our family week at Turtle’s Nest

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way!! We chose the house & destination based on ease of travel from multiple cities to maximize our time being together. We were provided everything we needed and more! Truly an amazing beachfront property with amenities that aloud us to enjoy the beach & environment in the day and the interior with each other throughout the evening/night. For a busy family, including educators & first responders, we were given wonderful accommodations that helped us relax/rest/recovery from the busyness of everyday life. This really was a home away from home for all of us, including our 23 yr old who has Down Syndrome and can become overwhelmed in new spaces. She felt so comfortable that she didn’t even want to leave at the end of the week. She even had the privilege of meeting the turtle watch personnel who came to verify the nest found nearby on our last morning. It was lovely to have our son & daughter in law, as well as our younger daughter & her fiancé, all able to meet at a Beachhouse workable with all of our schedules. Very thankful and so appreciative for an unforgettable and much needed vacation with our entire family.

Great stay at Turtle's Nest

We had a wonderful stay at Turtle's Nest. The location of the beach house is great, literally steps away from a very quiet beach. It is also conveniently located near great restaurants and stores. It's an easy drive to all the attractions in Saint Augustine.

Spring Break at Turtle's Nest

We had a fantastic spring break at Turtle's Nest! The beachfront location was perfect. The weather was chilly and breezy at times, but we enjoyed skim boarding, body boarding, and surf fishing. We caught a lot of whiting, bluefish, and a few sharks, including a 6-footer!The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the pool table was a nice extra. Both the top and bottom decks were covered and had plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view. The property was well-maintained.Wren Beach Rentals was extremely responsive throughout the process. We highly recommend Turtle's Nest for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway.

Beach Day Everyday

We were very satisfied with the amenities provided. The double washer and dryer allowed no wasted time during laundry. The rental agency very responsive. A few minor hiccups during our stay, but again rental agency was responsive and acted the best they could in a timely manner. We left several hours earlier than anticipated due to a certain circumstance at the property. Wish we could have been reimbursed for the inconvenience.

A great, quick get-away

We booked a last minute get-away at the Turtle's Nest and we were had a great stay. It is a good value for the price. The location can't get any better. It is a "no drive" private beach and we felt like it was all ours. It was a short drive to St. Augustine as well. The house was supplied with everything we needed in the house and on the beach. The beds/rooms were very comfortable and perfect for our group. The downstairs allowed the kids to have some of their own space. We will look to book the Turtle's Nest again when back in the area.

Turtle's Nest Holiday

Our group stayed at Turtles Nest for a long weekend in October and the experience was amazing. Very communicative hosts. The house has private access out the door to the beach and phenomenal views of the ocean. Short trip to grocery store and restaurants. Everything you need to enjoy is provided: beach chairs, towels, toys, body boards, etc. Outdoor shower and hose to clean off from the beach. Outdoor grill was supplied with propane for cooking and plenty of cookware for a family dinner. House is stocked with trash bags, paper towels, detergent which made cleaning easy. TVs in every room when taking a break from the sun. Overall, could not ask for more from a beach house and it was an incredible time at Turtle's Nest!

July 4th Vacation Week

We loved the area especially with no crowds on the beach and the ocean view from the deck. The house was nice and stocked with pretty much everything needed. Parking was good, just not as much as we had hoped for being we pulled a trailer and had to park it across the road in front of the house but it was easily visible. Overall this was fine because we were able to park the motorcycles inside the garage. We all enjoyed our family time here at The Turtle's Nest!

Perfect location, house with all you need!

This house is a slice of heaven! I locational could not be more perfect, right on the beach, and a close distance to so many activities and conveniences. The bedrooms are beautiful. Excellent Vacation Property

We had an excellent stay at Turtle's Nest. Everything was provided except food & drink. Bring disposable plates, cups & utensils if you don't want to wash dishes. The dishwasher did work well. A starter supply of toilet paper & paper towels provided. Bring extra from home or get some from Publix a few miles away so you don't run out. The kitchen even had a knife sharpener. The beach views are amazing from both up & downstairs. Private beach full of seashells. A foot wash & shower station outside. Plenty of beach towels. Two washing machines & two dryers. Detergent, fabric softener & dryer sheets provided. We did have TV issues. The three TVs in the upstairs bedrooms were all identical with identical remotes. However, one remote was missing completely. Another didn't have batteries at all. The last had dead batteries. We put new batteries in the two remotes. So we had two remotes that would work on any of the three bedroom TVs. No one stayed in the third bedroom so a missing remote wasn't a problem. The TV downstairs was also missing the remote but it was a different brand than upstairs. We talked with Wren Beach Rentals. They said they were going to check with the cleaning crew about the missing remotes. They did mention the TV downstairs was old & would ask the owner about replacing it. We were very surprised when they showed up with a brand new, in the box, smart TV for downstairs & set it up. We felt this went above & beyond our expectations.

The property was conveniently located near St. Augustine with amazing access to the beach. It had space for our extended family. It was fairly clean, but we had a small issue with ants, which was taken care of immediately by the property managers.
