Elwha Place was absolutely amazing! It was perfect and a beautiful location! We had easy access to so many of the locations we visited in the Olympic National Park. The house was decorated beautifully and so clean! We loved having a grill on the deck for cooking dinners each night and a fire pit for drinking cocktails in the evening or coffee in the morning! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever want, including spices of all kinds for cooking! If you’re wanting a cozy relaxing place with an attentive host, this is the place! Dena, thank you so much for an amazing home! We loved staying at Elwha Place and can’t wait to come back!

Elwah Place was a perfect place to unwind after exploring the northern sections of Olympic National Park. Especially loved sitting on the deck, at the gas fire pit, and listening to the sounds of the creek. The apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Loved having the use of a washer and dryer!

This spot was perfect for accessing Olympic National park trails! The West Elwha trail -a 5 minute drive -was a gorgeous rainforest hike down to the river and back! The sound of Indian Creek just off the back deck was wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated with all the amenities in the kitchen. Loved being able to do laundry too!

We LOVED staying here! It was cute, welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The river just below us was so awesome and we loved sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings! It was amazing having a washer and dryer too. Easy to access a ton of ONP locations and Lake Cresent. I would highly recommend booking here if you’re interested.

Perfect location for Olympic National Park

We recently spent 4 nights at the Elwha Place - Hiker's Getaway. It was a perfect and beautiful location with easy access to many destinations in the Olympic National Park and the city of Port Angeles. The 2 bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and had a large deck with a grill, firepit, table and view of the creek below. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer were appreciated. ( Be aware that the only access to the bathroom is through the Master bedroom.) There is a ramp access to the door. We were exploring the area during the daytime and did not use the outside common spaces - firepits, lawn, chairs, gazebo, etc. However, we did walk down the path below the apartment along the creek. It is a wonderful place to stay and a very relaxing location. There are several other places to stay on the grounds - as it is also used as a retreat. We will definitely stay at Elwha Place if we return to the Olympic National Park.

Tasteful, well located, and well appointed property near Olympic National Park!

You wouldn't think that the quality of the build would matter - but this house is well built - no squeaks, everything fits and opens/closes perfectly. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It made for a cozy stay that made it easy to get to hiking in the area. Dena was a kind and attentive host, and we can't wait to come back!

This house is very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you can imagine for a vacation home. We stayed for three nights and the family really enjoyed it. The house is near a creek. It is such a relaxing experience to wake up listening to the sound of the flowing water. Will definitely recommend it.

Perfect spot to see ONP

This was a great place for the two of us to explore Olympic National Park. The cottage lacked for nothing, the kitchens was very well equipped. So grateful for the laundry to wash the mud off after a day of hiking! Very quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Retreat

My husband and I spent 5 nights here and loved it! It had everything we needed. I especially loved the watching and listening to the babbling brook behind the house. There’s a beautiful deck where you can sit out and watch the water or there’s a screen door if you just want to listen to it. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had stopped on the way in Port Angeles at Safeway and bought some things so we didn’t have to have every meal out and it worked out great! The bed was very comfy and the shower was powerful which is always a plus. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan on visiting again.

Great place

We loved this place. Everything was perfect - the only thing was that the master bath is inside the master bedroom and it's the only bathroom - wish there was a door to the hall so it could be used by everyone. Other than that, we really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and had a wonderful bonfire down by the river. Would definitely stay again!

This property was everything we expected and more. It was stunning! When you walk in the door you feel like you are home. Cozy and comfortable. Most importantly, it was extremely clean. Great location to explore Olympic National Park

We loved Elwha Place. Great location, wonderful deck off living/dining area, generous space, comfortable bed, nicely stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal - far enough from Port Angeles to feel remote yet close enough for groceries and restaurants. Great location for exploring northern part of the park. The deck was a fantastic place to relax and eat outdoors with the flowing creek below us. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Getaway House in Olympic

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. Super clean with great amenities. We especially loved the little stream running behind the unit and listening to it out on the deck. My wife loved the cozy little reading nook by the window. Perfect location - out of the city a bit (10 min), but in the heart of the northern Olympic trails. Super positive experience
