Ugh, the property manager's poor customer service really made my vacation unpleasant. As for the place, it was high in novelty and low in comfort and felt really overpriced. The door was in poor repair and was frustrating to try to use. There is no comfortable place to sit provided. Rather than putting in a chair or sofa, they created a weird, very high padded bench with a hard wood edge that hurts every time you climb up and down from it. There is very little privacy on the property. You're crammed in there with other units and I could hear other people talking and moving around throughout my stay. As I said, the customer service was bad. There was an issue with running my credit card. Rather than giving me the benefit of the doubt and contacting me in a professional manner, they called me and left a very rude voicemail demanding that I provide a new payment method "immediately." They treated me as if I was trying to scam them. They called my card number "invalid." It is a valid credit card; vrbo had no issue collecting their fee using the credit card. As I'm sure the property manager knows, it is common for banks to decline purchases that are large or unusual for the purchaser until they are able to confirm with the purchaser. I called my bank after and they told me that this was in fact what happened. Good customer service is easy as long as everything goes right. The test is when things don't go to plan, and here the property manager really failed.
