We rented this property for a weekend family getaway, but unfortunately our experience was disrupted by a major issue. On the first night, we discovered bed bugs in the master bedroom. We immediately contacted the rental company, who reached out the next morning during business hours. The representative we spoke with was empathetic and did offer to relocate us, but moving would have further disrupted our short trip, so we chose to stay in the remaining rooms and avoid the master bedroom.While the location of the property was good and check-in was smooth, the bed bug issue was unacceptable and overshadowed the entire stay. The rental company did offer to provide some reimbursement when we went for checkout, but we were told the manager would contact us regarding the compensation. We made several attempts to contact the manager and were told repeatedly they would call us by the end of day. It has now been nearly 2 weeks since our stay and we were never contacted. We hope management takes immediate action to professionally treat the property so that future guests do not have to experience the same problem.
