We loved staying in this yurt. It was beautifully decorated. The gardens outside were lovely and offered numerous places to relax. There were many little generous touches that I have not experienced in more expensive places. We would love to visit again!
It's cute and comfy, peaceful and quiet. The grounds are beautiful. My only problem was i could never get the stove to work.
Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
This was a return visit for us as we have family in the area. We feel so blessed to have a nearby option that isn't a hotel. The Yurt is so relaxing and comfortable and we enjoy seeing the grounds always different from season to season. The nasturtiums were glorious this year.
The hosts were helpful and kind, the yurt was even more beautiful and thoughtfully put-together than the photos suggested, and the location was great for a trip to Port Townsend. The garden was dreamy! Iâd absolutely stay here again.
We had a great first trip to the PNW and a restful stay in this beautiful place. The gardens were beautiful and the yurt exceeded our expectations. The special touches of the heated floors, kitchenette and outdoor cooking space were great. The location made it easy to get to Olympic National Park, and we also had fun exploring the local beach and Port Townsend and Fort Worden. It was a wonderful stay.
We wanted a place adjacent to our destinations (Port Townsend and Hurricane Ridge). Check. We wanted a place that was not a hotel/motel, or even a condo. Check. Brigadoon is really remarkable. In a relatively unremarkable neighborhood, Brigadoon exists as a well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and private setting. Sight lines are such that you feel like youâre in the midst of the forest. Lots of outdoor area in which to relax. Donât be put off by the idea of a yurt. Itâs got great comfort features, a beautiful bed, great tub, and a tidy kitchenette to boot. If, like the fictional Brigadoon, you only find it by chance, take a chance and you will be rewarded.
My sister and I had the best time ever in this darling yurt!
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom floor is heated. We drove to the beach in about three minutes.
the cook stove and sink are on the deck which gave a glamping feel. The property is wonderfully landscaped, a cottage garden with a wild flair and great statuary. The owners were friendly as can be and the little dog, George was a special friend that stopped by several times during our stay. We hope to return!
My wife and I were in dire need of a getaway from it all when she came across this beautiful sanctuary that was just calling our name!!
Once you open the gate to The Yurt and step through you are transported into a beautiful and magical zen paradise that you never knew you always needed!!! We just loved our few days and nights here and we canât recommend The Brigadoon enough to all yâall!!
The bed is ridiculously comfortable and the bathtub and heated tiles are just what the doctor ordered for a restful and relaxing vacation.
The backyard is so gorgeous and cooking outside on the patio was really awesome!!
There is a cute gazebo and firepit that is really, really comfy and the view of all of the greenery and statues and stone circle in the backyard just make you feel like you are in a movie!!!
Sam and Beth are awesome hosts and little George the doggy and Olli the doggy are so sweet and came over to visit a couple times while we were there.
We love the little towns surrounding the neighborhood and enjoyed our drives around to Sequim and Port Angeles.
If you are in need of a romantic getaway or any type of getaway, hop on over and/or up to The Yurt!! Itâll change your energy and lift you up!!!
How cute is this yurt?!? It was very well furnished and incredibly comfortable! The bathroom was quite nice and the heated floors a fancy touch! The bed was so comfortable! The kitchenette nice. The outdoors was lovely. We had an amazing stay here. We wished we had the time to stay longer!
My partner and I stayed in the yurt for three nights for my birthday and we had a lovely time. The yurt itself is so beautiful and you can tell that the hosts put a lot of effort into its construction as well as adding unique elements that made it feel like a truly special experience. Wonderful bathroom with luxurious large bathtub and heated tile flooring. Great wrap around porch with outdoor sink and access to a grill. It really felt like the hosts thought of all the amenities possible for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Being nestled in a beautiful flower garden in Spring was the cherry on top. The hosts were also very kind and prompt in our interactions :) Definitely a five star stay!
Lots of care and thoughtful attention was put into making this property a peaceful place to stay. The property was clean and well maintained, truly felt like home away from home. I would love to come back with a stack of books and week to myself.
We love staying at the yurt because it is such a great home like setting and close to family for us. It's quiet, clean and comfortable. It's close to the beach for a refreshing and easy walk or a short drive to Port Townsend for tourist activities and good restaurants ... we love Silerwater for a great dinner out.
The yurt is beautiful and finely detailed. The bathroom heated floor was amazing. Kitchen and cooking set up was wondeful and Sam and Beth were fantastic hosts.
Would for sure come back in the future!
We traveled to Brigadoon, the enchanting yurt in Port Hadlock, for a winter getaway for 3 very stormy and rainy days and 2 nights, and we couldn't have asked for a more delightful experience. The yurt is like a combination of Tibet and Tolkien, remarkably comfortable and cozy. We'd love to return in the Spring, when the garden is in its glory, but listening to the pouring rain on the roof was an equivalent joy. We'll love to come back when we get the chance. The hosts, Beth and Sam, are charming and delightful folks and couldn't have been nicer.
Beautiful yurt and property! So very relaxing- loved the bed and bathroom especially. I wish we couldâve stayed a few more days and taken advantage of the outdoor space more!
The yurt was the perfect place to stay while exploring nearby Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. We loved it! The garden is so beautiful and the accommodations were very cozy. Love the bathroom, those heated floors are really nice on cool mornings!
The yurt has a warm cozy inviting vibe. Really didnât want to go anywhere. We were there to celebrate my grandsonâs birthday, go to his soccer game and spend time with family so snugging in wasnât on the agenda but this is certainly the place to do just that. I was surprised by all the amenities provided and it would have been fun to stay on and cook. The gardens were welcoming and lovely. We took a walk to the beach and learned a bit of Irondale history. Great spot!
This was a well needed relaxing trip. We enjoyed the decor of the Yurt and all the beautiful flowers. The gas fireplace sitting area was a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this to anyone.
We had a very comfortable and easy stay in an absolutely gorgeous setting. The yurt is well-ventilated, easy to heat, beautifully furnished. The yard is welcoming and well-maintained, lots of little spaces for hanging out and enjoying a hot tea and a book. This is a really special place and a very easy drive to Port Townsend, Marrowstone Island, etc. Everything was super clean and lots of thoughtful touches.
