This was our second stay at this beautiful home and can’t wait to come back next year! It has all the best amenities and it’s home away from home. A Week of Paradise

Great Beach House!

We loved this beach house! It was perfect for a family get away and was great to have our pets with us. It was much closer to the beach boardwalk which was a great surprise. The living space is on the 3rd Floor which was fine for us but if you have guests who have trouble with stairs that could be a problem. Will definitely consider staying here again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Pictures are accurate. Short walk to the beach. We were glad we rented a beach cart, however, to make travel back and forth easier. Even with the rain we had fun inside the property with game nights and watching the rain on the screened in porch. Very clean and welcoming. Have bookmarked it for a future stay.

Beach Road Trip

Great house with everything we needed. Our pup loved first trip to the beach and there was plenty of room for the gear we brought (trailer, kayak and paddleboards). Access to beach was easy. Had to drive a little ways to get our gear on the bay, but launches weren't crowded. Real nice spot and house.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay with (6 adults) two grown daughters, their husbands, three grandchildren under age 4 and a dog. A lovely beautifully decorated and new home made our stay so nice . We enjoyed the fire pit, the screened in porch , and the pool right across the street. The house was so well equipped with beach gear such as a wagon , beach chairs , a kayak, 2 umbrellas and beach toys . We loved the beautiful quiet beach and especially enjoyed using the kayak. We will cherish the family memories made at Baron by the Sea and Cape San Blas!

Perfect!

Everything was perfect and even better than we had hoped. Very short walk to the beach. Beach was very secluded. Home was very well equipped from the kitchen to the beach toys/towels and toiletries. Beds, sheets, pillows were high quality. We will be back. 5 stars for the house and another 5 stars for the rental company.

AWESOME STAY

My wife and I traveled with our daughter and four grandchildren to "Baron by the Sea". The house was wonderful. We arrived to a spotless home with everything provided. From beach towels, to a fully appointed kitchen, It was a 5 minute walk to a beautiful, pristine white sandy beach. Cape San Blas is the only west facing beach in the Florida panhandle, so we were treated to some amazing sunsets as well. THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was spectacular!!!

House was great - host was not

House was very nice. Host was not. Vrbo has a “Extenuating-Circumstances-Policy” that “protects you” for things beyond your control. Look it up. Things like mandatory evacuations. We were required to vacate the cape after less than 48 hours. The host refused to abide by the VRBO policy with the explanation that they reimbursed for two days only because we choose not to return after the mandatory evacuation had lifted. Who goes back after a cat five hurricane rolls through following a mandatory evacuation? House is a nice house - “Be Our Guest” gave me a zero star rating because I asked VRBO to enforce their own policy which is both petty and unprofessional.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home needs repair. The M.B is in middle portion of home, making for a noisy rest, you can hear everything and everyone above you going up and down the steps and opening and closing any doors up on top patio where the kitchen and the main recreation area is located. Poor lighting in bathrooms, uncomfortable beds and there is not a KING size bed in any of the rooms; all beds are full to queen and bunks. Too far from beach to carry any kayak and if you manage to do so, be prepared for a high incline up the boardwalk to beach and back down again. Construction going on near house and beach access and the noise from main road is loud if your planning to sit out on any patio. Oh, the pricker burrs are everywhere so pets beware, the nonexistent landscaping around this home is no help. Sorry for bad review, but, for the money, it was not worth it to us. Great area, but, would not recommend this to anyone other than a group of spring breakers.

We loved the main kitchen/living area being on the 3rd floor. The screened in porch off the kitchen was a great relaxing place to drink our coffee in the morning, and unwind after a beach day. The kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals. The pool and hot tub were a huge plus when the purple flag was flying at the beach. There are two beach entrances and either one is an easy walk to the beautiful beach. It would take way longer to get to the beach from a high rise condo that sits directly on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable; it felt like home away from home and we didn’t want to leave. We would love to stay again next year for our annual family vacation and look forward to making more memories at Baron by the Sea! 🩵

House comes with everything you would need for the beach so no need to pack your own. Owners provide kayak, 7 beach chairs and beach towels, 4 boogie boards, corn hole and beach toys. $250 beach gear credit got us free bikes. Short ride to the trading post and Skullys is only a 10 minute walk. Donna with the management company was extremely helpful and responded to any questions we had promptly. Will definitely rent through Be Our Guest again!
