Ideal location in downtown Port Townsend! The bed was super comfortable. There were no facial tissues and the bathroom tissue was so cheap, it shredded into pieces when pulling it off the roll. Free off street parking was convenient, but not guaranteed. Others knew of the free parking, keeping it full most of the time. In short, weâd stay here again because of the walk ability to downtown.
My friends and I came to Port Townsend to paint. This was a perfect getaway in the heart of town. There were views of boats on the water from almost every window. Being artists, we loved how the suite was decorated with lovely touches of fine art. And being able to sit out on the private deck made for a perfect evening. I would enjoy coming back.
The Inn at Waterfront Place has amazing views, and the kitchen is well equipped for fixing meals in, because with such amazing views I don't know why anyone would want to go someplace else to eat. There are some good restaurants nearby--Sirens is one of our favorite places to go when we are in Port Townsend. Finding a parking spot nearby was a challenge at times, but if one waits spots open up. The Port Townsend waterfront is very walkable, and The Inn at Waterfront Place is centrally located for walking.
Came for a tango festival. That was literally across the street. Wonderful location, right on the water. Comfortable bed and pillows. Josh was very accommodating and kind.
The location is perfect, overlooking Jackson Tidal Park with over 180 degrees view of the Bay and able to walk everywhere you need to go. The main floor was very comfortable with a kitchen with everything we needed to cook some basic meals, the bathroom with a very deceptively roomy shower and the sitting area perfect for enjoying a show after a long day. The loft bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and views that go on forever. There is a nice sized outdoor space that again is perfect for relaxing and taking in all the beauty around you. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope my husband and I are able to do so again, soon!
Location was great. Port Townsend is a lovey place we have been visiting for the last 30 years but 7-8 days is too long unless you plan hikes and adventures every day which is totally possible. AND if you are not a DEM (we are not) then it could get old fast! Itâs been about 6 years since we visited here from Texas and this year may be our last. The Inn was as stated, there are stairs, bath is downstairs, bed was ok, WD very small but glad it was there. The oven and cook top have issues working, kitchen needs updating and the place needs a very good cleaning. We arrived to dirty towels hanging in bath and food on floor in carpet. I put what appears to be clean sheets over love seat and chair bc did not feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. Patios were dirty and could use nicer furniture that is comfortable and high enough to see over. If you are just looking for a place to crash and not concerned about cooking there or cleanliness then this is it. Enjoy.
We were glad to stay in March before all the crowds of summer as this location could get very popular and noisy. It was a spacious and great spot to hear and see the stormy weather, to watch the ferries come and go, and to walk anywhere we wanted to go. For the price- we are used to more cleanliness. Maybe it's the cleaning service they use but there were items left in the dryer, wet clothes in the washer, dead bugs on the windowsills, and the view would have been much better if the windows were clean. The appliances are also very dated.
We loved staying here, views are incredible and downtown Port Townsend is on the doorstep, walking distance to everything. We had no problems parking and didn't move our car for the 3 days we were there. Could maybe use some more kitchen items but with all the restaurants so close by it isn't really an issue. We hope to make it back again in the not too distant future.
Lovely loft unit in the heart of downtown Port Townsend. Gorgeous views and all you want within walking distance: restaurants, shopping, bars, & Movie theater. Fabulous for all season Puget Sound watching. As noted, stairs are part of the experience but that was expected for us and not an issue. The only complaint we have is the bed which is a piece of foam on a thin and elderly mattress. At this price point, I guess we expect a real bed with some structure. 6â5â hubby (195 lbs) said he felt like he was falling out of bed all night! Would have happily given 5-stars if not for the bed.
Perfect location. Bring layers for gusts of wind & rain as you climb the streets, enjoy Sat. Farmers Market, 19th C homes, spectacular views of Puget sound.

Cute little place located above an icecream parlor, right on the waterfront with a wonderful view. Enough space so you can enjoy hanging out when youâre done walking and shopping in the cute harbor stores.
We rented this property for the weekend. It is in a fantastic location, right downtown. We parked on Friday and didnât need our car until we left. Plenty to do with many dining option, nearby theater, museum and local shops right on the ocean. Very quiet get away location by the sea! The space was a perfect size for two people and very clean! Josh, the host was very responsive and we didnât have a single issue with our stay!
PERFECT location to explore a quaint Victorian Seaport
This location is right on the main drive of old Port Townsend, close to shops, restaurants and history. Easily walkable up to another great area with a weekly farmer's market and some great shops (don't miss the new location of Quimper Sound (records and guitars) and the board game shop above Aldrich's Market. The host was quickly reachable when we struggled with the lock on the front door, and he's right about parking, there isn't dedicated, but you can usually find some close by and the hours aren't enforced. Highly recommend - would stay there again!
