Very cute, well decorated and welcoming. Very polite and helpful staff. Has no elevator so need a 1st floor room if differently asked. Phone was not connected. No coffee in room but was available 24/7 in the lobby. Breakfast average.

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The property overall is clean but needs some maintenance and upkeep done. Breakfast was mediocre. Overall, I'd go back for sure. It's a quiet area with a good restaurant on property. It'd be helpful to know there's no elevator prior to booking in case you're with someone that requires it.

Clean but disappointing

Spring House Inn is in a great quiet location and the hotel maintains a clean atmosphere. I have stayed here 4 times in the last 4 years and this last stay was a disappointment. The hotel I believe has new management or owners. The employees at the front desk are not friendly, and do not smile or interact at all. I remember a couple years ago, how kind and friendly the front office staff were. The breakfast has downgraded massively. I used to be able to request a later check out, that was not allowed this time. I can tell they are trying to cut costs, but the costs they are cutting are disappointing and decrease the enjoyment of our stay. But most of all, the lack of friendliness by the staff was the biggest disappointment.

Beautiful!

I’m not sure what some of the fuss is about. Yes- this place is an older Inn; but it’s beautiful! We saw ONE spider which is to be expected in an old building that’s surrounded by scenic woods. It truly has so much history and charm, large rooms too. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodated an early check-in for us. The pool was nice, clean, and didn’t reek of chlorine. If you want lame modernization, go to the Marriott and stay there. We loved this place and will absolutely be back.

The staff at Spring House Inn were very polite and helpful. The surrounding relaxing feeling you get from the Inn is wonnderful. Very nice relaxing place to stay. The free breakfast they serve was wonderful also.

The hotel was very nice looking in the pictures online. In person it smelled, was not super clean, and the breakfast was terrible. I picked it because the Expedia score was 9/10. I would give it a 4/10.

check in was very easy, room was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed the hot tub in the room and the swimming pool was great. The view out the window was nice and there was a small wood patio when you went out the glass sliding door. The dining area was impressive. The only thing I was surprised with was there isn't an elevator, so carrying suitcases up or down the stairs was challenging. I would stay here again.

We love this place! Its so comfortable, very nice and well maintained, and the breakfast room puts it over the top! The staff is so kind and friendly. We also enjoy the pool and dry sauna! A great perk is the guest laundry room. Since many guests are cisiting the Dunes, that is helpful. Beautiful grounds, beautiful stay!

This hotel has great charm and features that I had not seen in a hotel before. We made use of the sauna located at the pool area and the common space/living room type areas that are located on every floor. Very cozy, with a vibe like no other place we stayed on our 10 day road trip. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the balcony and scenery. We even saw a rabbit and a beaver from our balcony. My kids loved the outdoor seating areas and swings.
