Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
I had a disappointing experience during my 5-day stay at this hotel in Portland. I chose it based on positive reviews and its convenient location, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.
Location: The location was excellent—central and convenient. No complaints here.
Housekeeping and Cleanliness: This was the most frustrating part of the stay. Despite the hotel’s stated policy of daily housekeeping, our room was cleaned only once. We made repeated requests at the front desk each day, but they were consistently ignored. When we raised complaints, the staff offered only a generic apology with no explanation or resolution.
Customer Service: The service was well below what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Staff were unresponsive to our requests for housekeeping and basic amenities like towels. There was a clear lack of accountability and professionalism.
Room Quality: The room was average. The comforter was subpar, and the bathroom lacked basic toiletries like soap and lotion. We had to request these multiple times before they were finally provided.
Overall, this stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. We requested the front desk to contact the hotel manager, but we never could get hold of that person. I wish I could get my money back.
