This home was perfect! Everything we needed was here. Lots of thoughtful amenities. Pretty outdoor space and pet friendly. The owner even provided pet poop bags. Several floor fans throughout the house were available. The beds were comfy. The house was bright and cheery. Lots of towels and blankets. We would definitely stay here again! The host, Erik, was super responsive. We never met him but his communications were thoughtful, informative and warm.

Our extended family flew in for the weekend for a family memorial and related gatherings nearby. We appreciated finding a beautiful home with shared spaces to be together evenings and mornings. Less dog stuff (bed,bowls) and decor would make the downstairs easier to use. The back yard was beautiful and very pleasant in the evening, but unusable for morning coffee/breakfast due to sprinklers coming on more than once in the morning, hitting the table, chairs, and fire pit furniture.

Cozy stay in a clean house

The host was very communicative and friendly, the house was clean and well organized (I like how the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were labeled). The upstairs floor creaks a bit when people are walking in the back rooms but that wasn't a big deal. Very nice stay so we didn't have to go home between days of a weekend competition.

Exactly what we needed!

This was a wonderful and relaxing place to for our family of seven to stay while we visited the Portland area. It was extremely clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could need. There were even fresh flowers on the kitchen counter when we arrived. The host was kind, accommodating and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Wonderful House

My family and I enjoyed the house and all of its amenities. Erik took great care of us and the home and its charm was a wow! I’ve stayed at many vacation homes and I have to say this house has pretty much everything you need. Great kitchen! Would stay again if an opportunity presented.

What we needed

This house is cute and fully loaded. The owners were very communicative and responsive. Fantastic coffee bar, fridge had condements, and lots of cooking oils/spices which is a huge plus. Erik was awesome and helpful with a few minor glitches with wifi. Only bit of advice is if you are particular about your pilllows like I am, bring your own. The description has been updated to make it more clear that the owner lives on the same property with a wall connected to the house. I must have missed it and Erik was awesome to hear my feedback. Totally would stay again!!

Absolutely PERFECT!

Our family was in town for two weeks and this was the absolute perfect location. The area is quiet and safe, plus within walking distance to a park which was fantastic for our toddler! While the home is quiet and felt secluded, it was so close to groceries restaurants, walking trails, highways, everything! all of the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, the home is stocked with literally everything you could need for grilling and meal prep, and it is decorated so perfectly and cute! We were able to hang out in the backyard and grill, play with her daughter, and make s’mores. We are absolutely going to stay here again when we return to town!

Amazing property and host

This vacation home had everything we needed and more. Its exactly as the pictures show and reviews indicate. Very clean, new, well equipped, designed, decorated and laid out. We stayed five nights. I’m going to add what hadn’t yet been mentioned in the reviews. The 3rd bathroom is on the main floor with toilet and sink. Having 3 bathrooms was very helpful! During our last days, a winter storm came through bringing snow and ice. Erik promptly shoveled the driveway and walkways several times to make sure things were clear for us. He checked to make sure we were warm and didn’t need anything. We really appreciated the extra attention to ensure we had what we needed. When the storm hit Saturday most restaurants closed. We’re from Nebraska so we’re used to winter weather so we headed out to Fred Myers grocery store which conveniently is only a mile away. Once we got groceries we prepared to cook our meals that day and discovered a very well equipped kitchen! Excellent quality cookware with all shapes and sizes we would need. A multitude of bakeware and glass storage containers. Spices, condiments, basic baking needs as well! We even had another small family group venture out to have dinner with us that night and we had a wonderful time in front of the warm fireplace playing games at the large dining room table! This is way too long already, but we found this to be the best VRBO property we’ve rented so far. Thank you Erik for your amazing home and hospitality!

A family reunion

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made our family reunion festive and it felt like home. We had a wonderful time. The house was on a quiet street and close to where my father-in-law lives. We will be back!

The pictures do this home no justice. It has everything you could need during your stay, even chopsticks! The interior design is beautiful and the yard is great for grilling and relaxing. This home is pet friendly and even have a bed and treats for your pup on arrival :) Hosts are responsive and friendly! We had a great stay!!!
