The staff were very nice and the property was very clean. The rooms were spacious, although the beds need to be upgraded. They are older and not the most comfortable. But other than that, everything else was lovely. We also ate at the restaurant on site for breakfast and it was delicious. Would return again.

So we stayed at this place last year and we couldnt use the air-conditioning due to the amount of mold growing in it. But i chose to stay here again 🤔 we rented the delux suite. When we arrived i realized we had no microwave, i asked management and they had a microwave in our room by the time we came back! The chair had a broken leg, so we only had 1 chair for 3 people, we made due and pulled the table over to the bed so we didn't have to stand, lol Now lets get to the scalding hot water, my son was taking a shower and the temperature instantly became so hot, he fell out of the shower and ripped the shower curtain right off. Thankfully he was okay, but his skin was hot and very red...it burned him!!! We had 2 full size beds, the bed me and my husband slept in was terrible, very bumpy and springs coming through. Needless to say i did not sleep all nighy and had back pains. I even thought about eating the next 2 nights and booking at another place down the street. I couldnt even think about sleeping in that bed again, the other bed was not as bad. I love the location of rhe motel, but we will never come back, to outdated

This is my go-to place when I need an ocean stay in Maine. It is directly across the street from miles of sandy beach, just over a mile from the amusement park atmosphere of the pier at Old Orchard Beach in southern Maine. The staff is extremely welcoming. The restaurant/bar within the motel confines has a wide choice of options and again, the meals and service excellent. I hate to recommend the Grand Beach Motel because I may not have availability next time we want to book. It is very close to Portland, and the mill cities of Saco and Biddeford (for scouting out on a rainy day).

Definitely will not be stay there agin,although the room appears nice the fact the bed frame constantly hits the wall,cupboard door was about to fall off when opening,ceiling tiles left in the room,no real curtains,and also I can literally see under the door made me feel extremely uncomfortable.The people didn’t bother us but the small pool wasn’t properly cleaned and wasn’t heated as it says online.No offense to them but as I’ve read other reviews a lot of people’s concerns were dismissed by the owner which was very disheartening to read.

We enjoyed our stay here, check in was great , very friendly staff. There was an issue going on at the hotel and we had a little wait before we could get to our room, it was no problem. Pet friendly & access to the beach is right across the street. It was quiet & the room was spacious & clean. No issues and I would stay here again.

Excellent service! Short walk across the street to the beach. On site restaurant was a plus. The rooms were a very good size and we liked that the in room fridge was a little bit bigger than typical. The sounds of The Marsh in the back was pleasant to sleep to. This is a great option for budget travel.

This hotel is disgusting. The pull out couch can’t even be slept on. It’s actually worse than a prison mattress. We were offered a spare closet mattress if they could find one to place on top of it. Our room had 0 smoke detectors on the third floor. We booked a one bedroom suite. Third floor with an infant and it had none. When we brought this to the managements attention they said to either deal with it or leave but they “dont do refunds” although it’s a code violation which was confirmed by the local fire chief. The view outside the bedroom resembled the local dump. Employees sitting smoking on break on the “smoke free property”. The woman at the front said she didn’t promise us ocean view, just a view. So be warned, your view may be the hotels personal land fill. The owner could not possibly be any LESS useful. You would likely have a better conversation with one of the many mattresses covered in filth lying by the dumpsters. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We have been fighting to MONTHS to get our money back for the 3 night stay we had booked.
