The team made the stay for us. Really nice, genuine and people. Special mention for the way breakfast is served and a shout out for the breakfast sandwiches and baked eggs!
Great location for an easy walk into town and for longer walks along the coast.
We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay here. We stayed in the Nathanial Lord Mansion and our room was clean, stylish and very comfortable. Breakfast was served each morning in our mansion and was very nice with a different hot option every day.
The inn is located within very easy walking distance of everything Kennebunkport has to offer - shops, cafes and restaurants.
All in all an excellent stay and highly recommended!
This place wasn't worth what we paid, and the advertising as a B&B feels false. The breakfast is pathetic -- just some self-service cold quiche that tastes store-bought, mediocre pastries, and some yogurt/fruit -- most of which was gone and not replenished 30 minutes before breakfast technically ended. Equally bothersome: when I raised these concerns after the hotel texted to check on our stay, I was completely ignored. When I brought it up again at the time of checkout, I was told a manager would call me to discuss but this never happened either. The fireplace in our room also failed to reliably turn on -- and when it did, it just made the room smell like gas so it couldn't be used. The only highlight of this place was the convenient location, walking distance to downtown Kennebunkport. But there's lot of other places that also fit that description. I'd recommend looking at those other options if you want a more pleasant B&B experience worth the price.
The room was spacious and grande in a 19th century way. Check in was quick and painless. I was a bit put out that they ran out of coffee in the morning and that check in is not until 4pmâŠ
It was lovely the small details of cookie and pastries in the homes and the set up of the property was so charming. I loved that the house we stayed in was so modern yet felt historical in the general area.
