The property still has some cosmetic work needing done but itâs a cool space, everything was clean and functional.Within walking distance to some of our favorite spots - Tandem Bakery, Wayside Tavern, Bramhall.
What an amazing place to stay. For some reason I thought it was a one bedroom small loft style place bc that's what most lofts are like but this place is humongous! First floor was quaint with 2 bedrooms entryway and a bathroom with washer dryer closet, upstairs ohhhh the upstairs!!!! Super huge loft with fully equipped kitchen breakfast bar seating area dining room table a half bath a wood pellet stove with a lovely patiio with great views. I was blown away. The beds were comfy, the whole place was clean with a rustic feel. The host would always respond in minutes I had a mix up with my next booking he helped me extend another night and I was late leaving but he was very understanding. I was so sad to leave it just felt like home. The location was absolutely perfect central to everything. Couldn't be happier with my stay. Ty David you made me feel welcomed comfortable and appreciated
The Loft met our needs for the brief stay, everything was as stated and communication was easy. Make sure you reserve the parking space in advance if you are using a car as the neighborhood isn't easy for parking. My only real issue is the mattress choice wasn't as comfy as I would have liked but thats a personal preference, not a real reason not to rent.
This 2-story space proved perfect for our casual family get-together. The bedrooms & baths were on the 2nd story and the open living/dining area with sunny roof deck access on the 3rd. This floorplan supported a good balance of privacy and sociability. We enjoyed being only a 15-20 minute walk from the town center, allowing us to easily choose between dining out, getting take-out. The kitchen was judiciously equipped, allowing us to prepare meals on site as well. All in all, it was a very good "home away from home".
This is a very cute historic property. Very clean with all essentials. The deck had a fantastic view. The skylights upstairs were beautiful and you could watch the seagulls fly by while watching a movie in the living room. This is definitely a typical Maine historic apartment. If you are up for beautiful historic features and adventure, this is the place for you. Nice walk to restaurants and shopping. I would warn you, if you have a disability or a bit older, it may be a bit harder for you to get around this property and walk to downtown. This unit has several stairs and is an uphill walk.
