My family and I stayed there. The house is wonderful and spacious. My sons enjoyed the hot tub. Plentry of room for groceries if you are going to cook. GREAT food court park right down the street- walking distance. Very quiet. Fun idea was the record player with albums from a family frient, Leon Bridges. very cool.
The plus side: there were six bedrooms, not five. The house is very cute and has great layout. The down side: The morning after our first night, water started coming through the floorboards in the basement. Personal items on the floor got wet. Kids in the bedroom near the water slept on the couch the second night because owner couldnât address it or offer solution on Saturday. Floorboards were spongy, we had no idea how/if it would get worse. Ceiling in basement is very low. Donât expect to utilize it if you are 6 ft tall. Shower curtain in 2nd bathroom upstairs fell down three times. Beds are odd. Remodel appears to be aesthetic over function.
The house smelled like cat pee. The house is also not equipped for people who are injured. One of my friends that stayed at the house recently had surgery (which I know I did not disclose prior to start) but the house is definitely not structured in a way that is accessible to handicapped. The house itself was ok. The kitchen was awesome. If you are over 6â2, the downstairs basement is not meant for anyone tall. Some of the people staying werenât even able to go down there due to how low the ceilings were. The location of the house is in a pretty rough neighborhood as well. I understand that there are homeless people everywhere but around us there was a substantial amount. All in all the stay was fine. It was a place to stay. For how much they charge I find it to be a it too much for the location, accessibility, and overall comfort. Communication wasnât great. The night before I had to be the one to ask a few questions about check out because there was no instructions. If coming back again, I wonât be staying at this location now knowing the layout of Portland itself.
The house was awsome. It was more than big enough, but the kitchen needs to be stocked with bigger, and more frying pans. One medium pan was not enough. The location to food trucks was great. We only had to walk five houses away to reach them. I would stay there again for sure.
This house was perfect! We had two families with teenagers and there was plenty of space and the pool table and hot tub were a hit! Super cute and updated but still lots of Portland charm.
Quiet neighborhood. Great front patio for relaxing. Spacious interior with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Cozy couch. Loved having a driveway to park in. Close to collection of food trucks.
We loved the beautiful house and its great location! We enjoyed playing on the pool table and the video game console. This house was perfect for our stay and would be excellent for gatherings with family or friends.
House was perfect for us. Plenty of room. Remodeled. Kitchen stocked with everything we need. Old school sound system but had Bluetooth. Grill and hot tube clean and worked great.
The home was exactly what our group of 8 needed for a friends wedding weekend in Portland. Bathrooms were beautiful and outdoor areas were great for the cool evenings. The surrounding area is residential and quiet - which is always a plus!
Overall had a great stay! Beautiful, lots of space, and very well kept. Reached out to the owners regarding the AC temp during our visit since it got pretty warm inside and unfortunately they donât allow guests to adjust the temperature. So if you plan on staying during the summer or run hot definitely keep that in mind.
The Rhone house was a great stay for my family and I, we enjoyed the open space it gave us to be together for the weekend. It was comfortable, and cozy. It felt like home more than a retreat and that was what we wanted. The hosts had great communication and answered our questions/issues right away. Highly recommend a stay here with a close tight group of family or friends.
