Window View of Noisy HVAC

We have stayed here several times before and found it clean, comfortable and close to PDX. On this sty however, our room on the 2nd floor had an HVAC unit right outside the window that intermittently kicked on all through the night. So between the loud mini refrigerator, the trains horns, jet engines and the HVAC, sleep was a challenge to say the least. The front desk gave us earplugs before hand (figured it was just for airplane noise, can’t sleep with those in anyway) but should have gone back and requested a different room. On our next stay, we’ll request a room with a view of the pond.

The staff was nice . Room is just basic . Bed is not very comfortable and the pillows are awful. You have to pay for parking unless you want to park on the street It was just okay.
