Rhumbline resort was close to the shops, restaurants and beaches by car. We stayed for one night and were thankful for that. The grounds could really use some maintenance and the hallway carpets desperately needed to be vacuumed. There was also a random broken chair by the side entrance and garbage on the floor at the end of the hallway. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a stack of newspapers and the dresser, mirror and lamp had some heavy dust on it. The door to our room and to the porch stuck badly so we had to use force to open/close them. Overall, the place could use some tlc and most likely more staff.

Such a fun resort with vintage vibes in decor. Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tubs. Restaurant on site and you can get dins, snacks and bevs at the pool!!!! Just awesome with super friendly staff - we will definitely be coming back. Loved the proximity to area beaches and downtown

The town its self, ie. location was the positive. The place is run down and needs updates. Room had a damp smell, bathrooms need new caulk. 2 towels and a tiny bottle if shampoo/conditioner for the whole family and stay. Breakfast was mediocre so we ate a small yogurt and went up into town. You are not near a beach for walking. You have to drive and need a permit to park.

Beautiful grounds, great anrea for walks and fun for the family. However the indoor pool water chemistry was dangerously off and water was so murky you could not see through it. Also the minute you walked into the indoor pool atea we were hit with the strongest chlorine smell, so much so it burned our eyes and nose we se quickly left. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice and great outdoor bar and restaurant however the bartender Sandi I believe was not very friendly. The rooms were very outdated and had a very musky smell to them and we immediately had to open the windows and leave the porch door open. Carpet appears to be very old and heavily stained. Attention to detail sadly wasn’t there in that bed skirts were hanging off the bad and in disarray. Not a major concern but just lent us to think lack of pride in work/appearance probably extended to the cleanliness of the rooms. Breakfast also was just cold pastries and cereal. Could have been better in peak season but not a big deal. This was our third time staying here and sadly it is getting more unkept each time. Definitely time for an aesthetic upgrade as it’s beautiful grounds but sadly the accommodations are slipping into disarray.

Nice place to stay for 1 night. Staff were great & very helpful. You do have to drive & find parking to go in town. Bar by the pool was convenient for a beverage after a long day. Breakfast was basic, consisted of mostly bagels, English muffins & packaged muffins. There was fresh fruit & cold hard boiled eggs (I think) & some cereals. Would’ve liked more protein options. Also, the fitness center advertised on the site, which was a deciding factor on our stay, was closed. All in all though, we would stay there again.
