We were in Portland for my parents anniversary. We left the area in 1986 and moved to NC but we love to come visit. Our stay here was absolutely perfect. There were 6 adults and 1 teen in the group. We were all very comfortable. Our hosts kept in touch, were informative, and handled any questions I had. We would love to stay again!
We met here with family from various parts of the eastern seaboard and it was a great space for spending time as an extended family. The large open concept kitchen/dining/living are was a great place to hang out during crappy weather and the hot tub ended up being very fun. It was close to the city but was a 10-20 minute drive to everything - which can be a plus and a minus. The landlord was overly communicative and responsive to our concerns that arose and took care of our concerns and needs promptly. We do feel that the house is cheaply constructed and therefore will likely have ongoing issues with hardware and other things easily breaking, plumbing problems and water damage, etc that will hopefully not land on guests responsibility. They charge a very large damage deposit before entering the home and though we did receive the whole deposit back, it was concerning to see such a new house with many things on the verge of damage or breaking that could land on a damage deposit if folks aren't careful. Otherwise a great stay.
