The best thing about this was great location of the apartment. Very close to the Sao Bento train station and all the restaurants. The staff who helped with check in were super nice and helpful. The apartment was clean, however there minor hiccups that stopped me from given it 5 star rating. The lockbox to the apartment was apparently broken which caused slight inconvenience. No big deal. They replaced the lock immediately and the lockbox in a day or two. The TV was missing and there were holes in the wall and dust on the floor as if it was very recently removed before my check in. The WiFi connection wasnât great. I donât blame the apartment owner, itâs probably just the service provider. These were just minor issues and I would absolutely stay here again next time Iâm in Porto. One suggestion would be replacing the convertible sofa bed to just a double bed.
Very dirty and the washroom lights didnât work (it goes off randomly and only turns on half the times for a few seconds and then goes off). The host did not fix the lighting at all and was not interested in solving such problems with the unit. The area and the building itself were noisy. They did a super amazing job of taking photos of the unit. It is actually very tiny. Also the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and unstable. You need to throw away your garbage to the nearby garbage dumpsters (as noted in the instruction) which I have never experienced from other hosts.
The host was not available when we got there and we had to wait under the pouring rain for more than 10 minutes and the host did not even apologize.
The cooking pan was a garbage and very dirty, if I used it to cook something, I would die. I wish I can post photos to show everyone how bad everything about this unit was.. was definitely not worth money even though it was affordable.
