Location wise this hotel is great, we had an early ferry departure to France & the hotel is less than 10 minutes drive to the port. However, our night’s sleep was poor because the mattress was severely sunken in the middle; it should have been replaced sometime ago.

Okay for an overnight stay

The room was a good size with a nice bathroom. We did not like the connecting door as we could hear the next door occupants and the noise from the road was so bad that we thought the window was open. Certainly more needs to be done to insulate noise pollution in the rooms facing the exceedingly busy road outside. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the shower good. Breakfast was also very good.

No fridge in room. There should be a lift from the ground to the first floor. Very spread out and long corridors. Breakfast was chaotic. Generally a good hotel and easy to get to and from. Clean and modern room.

Plates and glasses left in corridor for over 8 hours- huge trip hazard Travel cot was not put in room and broken when we did receive one. Then had to wait 1/2 hour for another one. Breakfast was awful, only scrambled egg available. Dirty tables, no apple juice or juice range juice available. Shocking. Ruined our stay.

Great place, shame its on a main roundabout however nice open area/park behind. (Good for dog walkers) Food options for evening meals, if you want, are very limited. Parking confusing as parking also accommodates for the park and non hotel users. I was charged twice. Needs to be more clear ( use the machine in the hotel reception when arrive). Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty to do, however driving or taxis are a must.

It was a nice piece to have a holiday, nice comfy beds and clean toilet/shower. Good breakfast but items a bit limited, although much more than enough to have a belly full of breakfast. We enjoyed our stay overall

Everything was absolutely fine except the breakfast. Particularly impressed with the the check in experience. However, it was a great shame to find all the food at breakfast was cold, especially as we were there when it opened at 06.30hrs.
