Yes, the Roosevelt Home was very close by. My husband was told that he could not have his service dog in the breakfast room. The next day a clerk followed me out the door as I was taking the dog for a walk and told me the dog could not be staying there, but was later corrected by his boss who was on the phone. The rooms were not ready when we arrived just before 3:00, and we wanted to get to the Roosevelt home as soon as we could because we were worried about a government shut down the following day. The clerk could not even get into the computer because her password had expired. The property does not seem to be very well managed.

No elevator! I looked at property details in Expedia and they listed an elevator. The property common areas were not inviting. Breakfast area was way too small, food adequate. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay here again. Hyde Park area is beautiful, though, which is what we were there for.

A convenient place to stay. Very friendly staff. The bathroom floor was a little slippery, I think because it was not rinsed with water after mopping. It would be great to add yogurt to the breakfast options. The cereal was a little stale.

The location is close to everything in Hyde Park. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It suited our needs and I would stay again.
